I still think this is one of the best love songs ever written. It's not what you'd expect from a love song, and maybe that's why I like it so much.
The passion in John Legend's voice in this song just moves me every time I hear it. Absolutely gorgeous. |
Intensity...
I think this is one of the most intense songs and videos and NOT one word...

I am not a super-duper uber audiophile, but I enjoy a tune or two. I recently indulged and purchased a piece of ear candy, a very sweet toy for my aural fixation:
http://www.bose.com/assets/images/sh...ion5_gr_lg.jpg This hookup is the Companion 5 multimedia speaker system, made by Bose, specifically to give folks on a laptop the sensation of being in a home theater when listening to music, gaming or watching a DVD. Emulating ass-kicking surround-sound with a very small footprint is not easy, consequently this shit ain't cheap. To atone for spending the mad cash on such a thing, I imposed a 2-week waiting period before allowing myself to connect it to my laptop and try it out. There it sat in my room, in the box, taunting me, for 14 days. Today is day 15. It is superb. Fantastic. My ears are happy. It does not suck. I have enjoyed the score from the Piano, some Mary Chapin Carpenter, a bunch of Hard House, some Mary J. Blige, Beyonce, Pink, Michael Feinstein and a little Eric Johnson. However, the most amazing thing is this: I heard an entire piano line in a song that I have never heard before, this in a track I have listened to at least 2 or 3 hundred times and on various CD players. I find that simply amazing. But, of the various genres I have triesd so far, I must say that electronica flies supreme on this digital kit, which is no surprise: |

Julie London...hands down sexier version. Not bad for a girl band though.
