Beef ribs, veggie kabobs and rice pilaf.

I made my own version of franks n beans...
I saute diced onion and pepper in a little olive oil, then cut the franks (I use turkey) up in slices...add that to the pan, then once those are browned, I add a can o' beans. Let it simmer and add some stuff in (worcestershire sauce, smoked tabasco sauce, mustard...usually I add ketchup but I didn't have any) It's quite tasty like this... :) |

No dinner tonight. Lunch was most delicious though. Sliced roast beef, with rice and gravy, black-eyed peas, lima beans, a pork chop, mac n cheese, sliced fried squash, and 3 pcs of side meat, and 2 glasses of sweet tea, with caffeine. LOL

I had tuna sandwich on whole wheat bread with a pickle, then unsweet tea to drink.

I had a late lunch
I had a lovely, fresh sliced tomato, topped with provolone...sprinkled with fresh basil from the garden and drizzled with lite Italian dressing...
It was just what I needed....tomorrow I will make a more dinnery dinner. I have gorgeous zucchini and summer squash to use up...but I needed butter to cook them in the manner they deserve :) |
