Handling some home stuff--scheduled carpet and upholstery cleaning, taking the small area rug in for cleaning, ordered new curtains for the living room and dining area, and talked to the carpet installers about repairing a seam.
The smartest thing was ordering curtains in the shorter length--away from the heating vents and pet hair balls. Sprucing up the living space brings me joy! |

Its the end of the school year. The classroom is closed up, the final bell has rang, and the students have left for the summer. I get to sleep in for 2 and 1/2 months!!! WOOT!! Bring on the sun and the sand and lets go camping!!!

Having a wonderful evening out yesterday...with great laughs at really funny, crack-us-up/never-live-it-down kinda stuff...coming Home to peace and quiet, with a few giggles about what happened at dinner.

What brought me joy today...
Lower humidity this morning, so my hair didn't frizz the minute I walked out the door. Plans after work for margaritas at my favorite restaurant patio, with my friend, ol' one-eyed Willy, that I haven't seen in months! A cousin, that is more like a brother to me, is coming into town from Florida, to spend Father's Day (& a couple extra days) with my mom & dad. We haven't seen him in 5 years! It's Friday, with a great weekend weather forcast, and my pool is calling my name! Time to soak up some sunshine on my floaty! |

My beautiful daughter. We were driving home from running errands and I put on one of her kid music CDs for her. The little angel was in the back seat singing the "Hokey Pokey" for all she was worth :stillheart:
