Pro-Choice Book Club night and sitting in the company of women that inspire me. Almost six years we've been together as a group. One my favorite nights of the month.

Talking to Mom and hearing that she had a wonderful birthday with her best friend Miss Pat.
I am beyond happy that she got to celebrate this birthday and had an awesome time! It was around September two years ago that she was diagnosed with Stage 4 lymphoma and started VERY aggressive chemo (we nearly lost her that winter) I am so tickled that she had an awesome day. She really deserves it!! And she sounded so good on the phone. Sounded happy making plans. She's finally able to look past her days of treatment and make plans for things she enjoys. |
The strength and fortitude of My girl. Her knowing that she can do this, that this will be her last quit.

Listening to talk radio and all the grim reports of the economy made me reflect on my own life. I'm a blessed girl. :)

What made me smile today....
Dinner with friends last night, that we hadn't seen in awhile. Laughing & catching up over yummy mexican food & mango margaritas ~ FABULOUS! Hearing two songs today on the radio, that always bring back wonderful memories ~ Bring me to life reminds me of kareoke with Candace, G and Goofy in Oakland! And I've got a feeling ~ good times & positive energy from the Reuinon! |
