Boyhood and Birdman

What a waste of money and movie.

1 out of 5 stars for both movies, 1 is being nice

I just saw Lucy.

Scarlett's acting in the beginning few minutes was for shit but once she got all logical and didn't express fear/pain/etc she was much better. I really enjoyed Morgan Freeman and the action scenes though. And the ending. I like how it's tied up in a way that isn't tied up.

I saw The Lazarus Effect on Saturday night.

3.5 out of 5

Basically another experimental of death science deal. Has some scary points but if you don't follow from the beginning you wont get the premise.

Saw Lucy yesterday. To me, it was a remake of The Lawnmower Man with a female lead. I loved the original.

Saw Birdman today. I should know better than to watch Best Movie Oscar winners. Love Michael Keaton but not this movie.

Took my young man out to see MacFarland USA this weekend, and he liked it very much. I thought It seemed a little too prescriptive of Disney at moments, but overall was a decent message of stamina, hope, and triumph. One of the things I thought most interesting was learning that my son didn't know where his food came from and about the people and their conditions who worked in that area(migrant labor). We actually had a more meaningful conversation about that topic than the running; and that's a good thing in my opinion.

That Gal Who Was in That Thing (2015) Showtime

This a documentary with several actresses you’re more likely to recognize than not. They all speak of the way Hollywood treats women compared to men and some of the outlandish stuff they've been told to either do or not do!

Nothing to surprising but nevertheless a good movie to catch if time permits:popcorn:

Exceptional Tv Series!! Now that I have watched them all, I am on the hunt for a new one. Kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Totally worth it.

A Different Loyalty (2004) Based on a true story Sharon Stone, Rupert Everett,

Leo Cauffield, in Beirut, home of his Islam-converted father, Leo seduces Sally Tyler to divorce her husband for him. Their happiness with children from both marriages is cut short a few years later, when Leo suddenly disappears; Sally learns soon he's suspected of having defected to Moscow too, which she refuses to believe, but will be forced to while Western secret services want Leo back or dead.

I enjoyed it but then again I enjoy Sharon Stone in just about anything. Check it out and see what you think when time permits:popcorn:

I saw a double feature today.

I was going to see Kingsman: The Secret Service but I made a last minute switch and decided at go time to see this movie:

It was a lovely surprise and there are a TON of actors and actresses that I enjoy in it. I hadn't heard much about it, so I didn't know that Richard Gere was in it. That was a nice surprise for sure. I liked being in a half filled auditorium with more mature patrons. It was a nice change.

Initially, I didn't plan on a double feature but as soon as I got out of one, the other was starting so it worked out perfectly.

I really enjoyed Samuel L. Jackson being looney as a toon in this flick. His assistant......wow. The action did not disappoint and there was some cheeky humor in it too.

I had a great movie going experience!
