I think it gets slow in here because we all have so many other interests. It's awkward to be grouped together because we're a certain number of years, especially since none of us feel our age often. I forget how old I am and remind myself I'm not a kid only when the body won't function like I know it should.

Well, Things didn't "work out" for this gal and me. She didn't want to move here. I told her I have a responceabilaty looking aftetr my Mom. I gave my word to my dad and my brother. By the way Mom had a bad spell yester day and also this AM. The spell she had I wanted to take her to the ER in Olean,NY. It ended up I slept on the other side of her bed till she felt better.
Any ways I prmest I would take care or look after her and I don't give my word unless I mean it. I don't go back on my word unles its a emurgence and then,I have to.

LDR could be difficult and costly. My last partner lived in California and I lived in Boston and we did the long distance for almost 2 years we visited each other every three months. Finally I moved to California and the relationship had a 7 year run after.

LDR could work out but there has to be trust !! love !! and honest daily communication.


Its important not to rush things, we have responsibilities in our individual lives and we can not expect to pick up and go ASAP. I have heard and seen people pick up and go ASAP and it has been a terrible mistake.

Love grows when you nurture it gently and slowly, developing deep roots that will stand strong when difficult times arise.

Thanks,I hope she gets better soon. But,she is 85 now COPD and she never smok in her life its from other people smoking around her. She has worked all her life. I dread when,she passes over.

I will have to agree... As I have gotten older I found my three kids still need me but in a very different more expensive way then they did as kids and now the parents need me to take care of them... The good thing about the age we are now is I am now not letting myself be walked on and not caring about what everyone thinks about me... Family not happy with me oh well...
I need to live my life the way I want it to go and not what everyone expects from me... A very rude awakening for most of my family!

Hey all! How is every one? Its been really hot the last few days. Mom,my cats and I didn't sleep at all last night. To day I layed down and watch tv with my youngest cat,Molly, and feel asleep and didn't wake up till 8:45 tonight. Is every one doing ok with this heat wave? I hope all is well with every one.

Well in actuality, I have had the username for years and that is how others recognize me. My status has changed a bit over the years and my intent of presence on this site includes magnanimous pursuits transcending simplistic skirt chasing endeavors, obliterating any sentiment of the butch-femme bathhouse scene....lol.
