You asked how I did my 1/2 inchies. I went with a theme of we are all part of the larger whole. So I made the whole and then took out the individuals. I colored the paper under yellow and glued the 2 together so I also have a part. It is alcohol inks, mulitiple stampings, writing, glitter glue, crackle paint, paint etc. Mine arrived today! They are wonderful!

I love this idea. I just happen to have a stash of paint samples that I knew I could use someday!

Okay, this is what I sent in for my contribution to the Half Inch Project. It's a puzzle-sorta. Please ignore the yellow cord, which somehow got under the paper when I made the scan. That was NOT part of the artwork. And since it's long since cut apart and sent off, too late to make another copy. sheesh... (Note to self-check the damned scan BEFORE cutting or altering original!)

Anyway, hopefully this will post properly.

1/2 inchies are home.
 

I have our 1/2 inchies.. I carefully opened my envelope at the mail box, imagining that static or the winds would blow them away. What a great collage inside that card. Individually wonderful,and collectively awesome art.

I'll give kaijira her 1/2 inchie's envelope after work tonite.

It was 99 degrees and windy at noon. The hot California winds and fires are raging 80 miles south of me.

No chance of rain in our future. Hoping the fireman in all that gear can stay well in that horrendous heat.

Got the my half inchies envelope. How VERY cool! Really REALLY neat work folks! Love it? I have carefully labeled the envelope, so I wont accidentally toss it out-yes, I am just that absent minded-and put it up. Look forward to many more projects!

I know who has me, Nanners. The person I have I won't mention in case they want it to be a surprise :). I did want to know who had me and am particularly happy to know that that person is a talented cookie baker :D.

I think it's just personal preference. We are instructed to get the address from the person anyway.

I think you can, though. Just PM and ask Stepford set (I love "voice to text" LOL). That's what I did and it worked.

I don't want to know who has my name. I am enjoying this project :)

Thank you for the invitation, I may join you sometime. Perhaps when it becomes winter and I don't have so much to do outdoors.
