Finding the PERFECT place to store my paints, etc.....so they're still close~by, but they're out of sight......YEA! I can have my kitchen back!

Two weeks ago, one of my closest friends got fired from an organization she dedicated 21 years of her life to, which slammed the door on her entire life's dream. Last Tuesday, out of nowhere, she got a new job. Even though she's still hurting and picking up pieces to start again, she's already got a great start. I'm really excited for her. Happy, too! :)

Sat on the front step and tied my running shoes. I went running down to the private golf course across from my hood. Squeezed between the fences and snuck in, so I could run along the cart path in the stillness of the the bright moonlight. Something kinda fun about knowing I'm trespassing, but at 0400 noone knows but me. Running back home all sweaty, making a cup of my fav coffee and sitting on my patio, watching the sun slowly changing the color of the black sky. Thinking to myself, I love my life.

looking out in my yard and seeing that the tulips :bunchflowers: have not only made their way through to soil but are now getting ready to bloom. I love winter and all it has to offer but am always so excited to see spring come!

While placing the houseplants at the window, spotted 3 Blue Jays, 1 Cardinal, 2 big...big..rabbits, all foraging in the yard....which was weird, and sweet...all wrapped in one..

What made me smile today...
A sweet call from my mom this morning, thanking me for taking her to the movies & lunch yesterday. It's always nice to spend time together, where she can just sit back & relax for a change. Sweet messages from friends that always seem to know when I might need them the most. Driving up to my office and seeing two of the guys planting the most beautiful flowers in front and my boss telling me, "so & so wanted to say he was sorry for last week, and got these flowers for you". |
