I might have a turkey and cranberry relish sandwich on a dinner roll...

I didn't want to get stuck with a lot of food that would likely go bad, so I cooked a small turkey, and a small pan each of cornbread dressing with giblet gravy, & broccoli and rice with cheese. I also had plain green beans and cranberry sauce. Even still, there are enough leftovers for 2 or 3 days. The carb overload nearly put me in a coma, but it sure was good. :)

the weather has been crap here..rain, then ice and more ice. Sooo, it's soup day. I have in the crock pot diced potatoes, spinach, broccoli, carrots, celery, onions, northern white beans,peppers, diced tomatoes, vegetable broth and some italian seasonings, onion and garlic powder, salt and pepper, a dash of this and that. I have rolls on the oven rising and a lentil loaf in the oven for sandwiches if so desired.

Being it's damp and rainy then getting cooler. I'm making a pot of potato soup loaded with ham, onions and celery all I need to do is add the seasoning when it's done.

Hungry Howie's large thin crust THE WORKS ... cooked extra well done, crispy and brown with milk to drink ... two pieces left for breakfast ... :)

The last of the Thanksgiving leftovers, other than some turkey that I put in the freezer.

Most likely it will be some of the crockpot potluck that I cooked up a few days ago. I cleaned out the fridge and threw things like butternut squash and yellow and green squash and sliced mini peppers and some chicken and veggie sausage in there too. Other things made it in there too...baby carrots, mushrooms, sprouts, cooking greens, et cetera. Once I cooked that down with some low sodium chicken broth, and seasoned the heck out of it, it was pretty darn good. Hearty as all get out too. I take some rice and then lay some of this over it and it's on like Donkey Kong! I've tried different types of rice and so far I like basmati the best with this.

I nabbed some trail mix and some dark Hershey kisses from my last client...then got home and cracked open a couple tangerines. It's seriously all I could manage...its been a day

Homemade chicken soup with chunks of avocado. The only thing missing is a slice of lime.

I had left over potato soup for dinner with a chunk of French bread with some unsweet tea.
