candles such as what Entycing Femme and so many of you post but instead I simply ask this of you...
My dear Aunt (75) died unexpectantly today. She and my uncle had been married 55+ years. She had had issues with a buildup of CO2 in her lungs, however, last night when my mother and I visited her she had shown significant improvement. She was alert, talkative and animated. For some reason as I left her last night I decided to thank her for seeing me through some of the darkest hours in my life. This morning her 02 sats dropped and she became unconscious. She was on life support until we reached the hospital. Since she had given her family the sweetest gift of completing a living will, my uncle and her two grown children disconnected her from all life support at 4:30 PM. She died in about 5 minutes. She was peaceful and painfree. Tonight my uncle is struggling with doing this although he knows this is what she wanted. After all those years as soulmates I find his courage and love to be beyond comprehension. Please remember him as he searches for peace as he moves through the days ahead. Prayers for your uncle, it is truly beautiful to see true love like he had for your aunt.

For days and nighst of burning candles enriching the Planet.

Cancer and infections are running their course in her tired body. She was rushed to Saddleback Hospital last night, high fever, and the feedeing tube site growing bigger and leaking since her chemo treatment on Friday. Her PIC line was not in place and had to be removed. It is one thing after another and I see her growing tired and weary of it all. Wishing a safe trip for her sister Rozella, trying to get a flight from No. Calif. this morning. Light to send her strength to face and deal with the pending decisions. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...cheese/gif.gif For that time of turmoil in the darkness while searching for the match, creating that spark to light the hidden wick. For my own introspection. For those around the world in storms way and fearful travelers trying to get home, candles stay lit for all in harms way. |
