joy today..

like everyday i got to see my son, next week at this time i will be spending the weekend with him, then off to FL i go for a week or 2

the sunshine
the ambiguity of life
being able to spend time here
my son Eddie
my friends here at home
in being single

Walking a goose on a yarn leash
Watching Prince Of Persia
Scoring some great trash finds
Giving away the great trash finds (or at least posting a note to give them away
Listening to the quiet hum of a ceiling fan doing its job

I watch freecycle and craigs list like a hawk, and today I was able to get tons and tons of bulletin board items, wall poster, music tapes, lesson plan activity books, etc from a retiring teacher, for my daughter who just graduated from college in elementary ed. All of this was FREE! She now has a good start to stock her first classroom with!

Its taken Me a month, alot of soul searching and one conversation with someone very dear to Me to help Me to realize that I'm on the right path in My life ~ knowing now where I need to be and what I'm meant to do, which brings not only immense joy but alot of comfort to Me :D

Early this morning i found a helpless baby starling hidden in the midst of my garden with stray cats all around the yard...... i was so FULL of JOY knowing baby was safe! Brought baby to a local bird santuary where they will nourish and fix any injuries noted and then they will rehabilitate baby back to good heath :) :cheer:
