Ok .. is it me? I just got a message from a woman on a singles site. She said she wanted to meet for coffee. When you read her profile she says she wants a relationship, .. her screen name is wantsjustsex... hmmmmmm she also says she is good at giving oral sex (why you find it nessassary to put that in your profile is beyond me)... however, she says she has NEVER been with a woman. Soooooooo .... uhhhh NO, ... not just no, but HELL NO! Went back into my profile on that site and made it clear in my first paragraph that that is NOT what i want. Jeeze ppl. I am finding it is VERY hard to find a lesbian in my own age group that wants more than just sex. Even the singles in my own group of friends. I am feeling very frustrated, antiquated, and generally want to give up.. having a cup of chi... sigh.. :tea:

Welcome to the thread, Fever! I have been single since February of last year, and I am kind of enjoying it. There are times when I do wish that I had a partner in my life and right now, I don't think that is what fate has in the cards for me. I am trying to get my life back together and getting back on my feet financially. Maybe in a few months, I might find someone, but I am not sure. CF, Matt would freak out if he knew I was giving Athena little nibbles of milk when he isn't home. :blink: She is such a sweet cat and still likes to run into my old bedtroom here in the apartment and go to sleep. So I am still sick been sick since last Wednesday, damn Sinus Infection has me sneezing and wishing I could just replace my sinuses! Well on a high note, I did go run the 5K race I signed up for a month or so ago. I won 3rd Place in my age bracket! Go figure! It was a hellish run for me. Imagine how fast I would have gone had I been well.

Good Afternoon everyone. Back to work tonight. I'm ending my weekend sitting on the back deck and watching a baby bird practice his flying on the field behind my home. He is getting about 2 feet up off the ground before he disappears again into the tall grass. so cute.

Moring singles... so exhausted.. I fell asleep around 9:30 on the couch with heating pad on my back and ice on my neck. Went to bed at 11 and now I am ready for work but all I want to do is go back to bed. I hope I'm not getting sick.
My bad director is going to do my evaluations today. She is suppose to do one a month and hasn't done them for about 5. The last one she did she lied on. I need a vacation... can't afford one... Hope you all are having a wonderful hump day! I am truly loving my new job. Everyone is very nice and helpful. I have already finished my training, which is supposed to take 5 days, took me 2. I am working straight thru until next Monday and I am thankful for it. I came home Monday night and crashed on the couch and woke up to find Athena sleeping on my stomach..
