Seeing Peppa the terror beagle on her back feet kicking her lab sister Riley in the face while Riley's mouth was around Peppa's entire head.. They sound like they are killing each other but they really love the hell out of each other.. Better them than me I guess...
I love those dang dogs.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Midnight... my blind Pomeranian laying on the floor beside me completely content.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ladybug, my 13 year old corgie/boxer best friend in my life who has never left my side these past 13 years.. finally peaceful and no longer miserable with her skin condition. Prednisone is her friend... Momma to all the babies... |

a friend/coworker coming to check on me...ended up spending the evening and having dinner with us.

I smiled a lot today:
* I had my Pappy, Pops, both inlaws and honey all around a dinner table and it was fun, lively, and warm. *insert huge smile there* * Work has only called 4 times while I've been on vacation this week. * A VERY rare text from buttbuddy1 to buttbuddy2. * My mom-in-law popping out of the guest room after seeing lightning with huge saucer-like eyes and her little curly-q ponytail bobbing up and down. * Seeing my mom-in-law see a lightning bug for the first time in her life. (magical face!) * My Pops' amazing sicilian spaghetti! * Fuzzy dog plopping down in father-in-law's lap and both of them snoring in unison. |
My adorable roommate's laughter while watching the Beggin' Strips commercial as if he's never seen it before. And his even harder laughter when it came on again three minutes later. Good times...

A random phone call from my boo just now: D ~ "Am I crazy, or did I hear you talking in your sleep last night, something about a casino?! Boo, it's a sign". Me ~ "No baby, that would be you sleep talking." D ~ "Ok, well what if I take you out on a date to the best buffet there is?" Me ~ "You mean the one at the casino, don't you?!" *guess we're going to the casino tonight* |
Ivan's doctor called us this morning with the news that Ivan had poo'd last night!! :D :frog::awww:
We had to put him in the veterinary hospital yesterday because he's been having tummy trouble again. Poor Ivan apparently has a delicate digestive system. :( Anyway, hopefully, he's on the mend again. Who'd have thought that something like poop could be such good news?? :clap::D Theo :bouquet: |

My son found this precious, sweet baby last night in the middle of a busy street. We are trying to find her owners. She has a collar but no tags. We are hoping she may have a chip and are taking her to a vet tomorrow.
She is so happy and well cared for. My son put up flyers. I hope her mommy isn't too worried....she's doing good... Calling her lola right now cause of course don't know her name..... http://i619.photobucket.com/albums/t...4151115261.jpg |

What made me smile today...
Talking with 2 rescued greyhounds and their parents; Searching for my cell phone in the backyard and habitat and finding bird nests, squirrel nests, and so many other neat things that most don't see; Watching Gabby, my female cat, curl up in a circle, and sleep & snore on the deck in the sunshine. Just precious. |
