Celebrating the poodle's 14th birthday. Watching his eyes get big when he saw his "cake" with the candle burning, beginning the happy birthday song, and watching him relax, sit back and just take it in. The opening of the presents ritual is always entertaining, and this year, he seemed to take even greater delight in shredding the gift wrap.

The everyday things
Need to remind myself today of where I have been and where I am joyfully now
I live in a big ole climate controlled back yard havin' house. I have a job I love I am clothed There is some food in my pantry and fridge My dogs have a couch to sleep on I have a car and there is enough gas to last until payday I have people who love me and I love them right back I am able to use my mind and skills to advance myself professionally Life is very good |
Having lunch with my honey and Arwen made me happy today, as did crystal shopping and ice cream. Oh, the ice cream!

Going with Jake to see Paranormal Activity 3 and enjoying some father/son time... then coming home and doing some Wii bowling with him and Sarah AND getting to FaceTime with Stacy - who will be home day after tomorrow :) Awesome night! <3

Being able to see one of my very close friends give birth to her first baby last night! All chips fell right in place that the Dad is home from Iraq, I was still in Indiana, and she was able to have him naturally!! Welcome to this big wide world Evan William!! 9 pounds 6 oz and 23 inches!!! A bouncing baby boy!!

its cold and wet and raining today. Yet I went outside where I planted the two beauty bushes my sister gave me and created a garden bed,to be filled in next year. I wish i had some tulips and daffodil bulbs to throw in there so I can see them come up next year but that will have to wait for more prosperous times. Right now, I dug out all the weeds and laid down landscaping fabric and covered it with brown mulch...It is were the lawn leads into the garden section out back. Those beauty bushes will warm and welcome everyone as they enter. I so enjoyed this today...now for warm tea! :tea:

Working client with Cerebral Palsy, her foot was completely toned and locked up in position, after I worked on her a bit, it released!!! Seeing that foot wiggle around made my day, and hers too I hope.

What made my day was my sick fur baby getting up and going outside,then injoying the time out by walking round the fence looking at the other fur kids next door with a good look in her eyes,then after her dinner going out then walking around some more.Today she even ate really well for a change even with her still being a bit dopy from the meds....it was a good day.

Finally after months of looking....finding a vehicle for The Boy. He is the proud new owner of a Tahoe, like his Uncle Billy. We drove it for a while and he did great. Won't be long before he's ready to take his driver's test.

My electric bill was zero for this month!!!. Well actually it was $32.56. But I had a $55.00 credit for some reason and so the bill arrived for a whopping $00.00. I love that !!!!:nixon:
