A good friend that I had to cut ties with.

Traditions..not just at Christmas, but all holidays. I miss our family traditions.

I miss my Dad's love of NCAA 🏈. We used to make our own picks for each bowl game. Back then there was only 15 bowl games, there are 40 now.

I miss back when it really meant something when your team went to a bowl game. Of the 15 games 7 were the most prestigious. Cotton, Sugar, Rose, Gator, Orange Peach,Fiesta.

Papaw calling at midnight. He called every new years eve at midnight since I was a kid

I miss being courted. *sigh*

I miss my truck.
The body shop better return her in perfect condition.

sparks from the "el" hitting a curve at night in Chicago

I lived in an apartment along a curve. We had rocking chairs facing the "el." Sat for hours on the porch during the nights of summertime.

I'm eating my heart out! What I wouldn't of given to have lived anywhere in the windy city!

I am sorry for your loss my friend and you are in my thoughts daily. I send my prayers for your healing that will take so very very long. Sweet, take care of you.

As a parent who has hosted a multitude of parties for wee ones, I can honestly say I am so glad the "goodie bag" days are behind us. 😄
