Me too.

All sorts of social obligations, more than usual.

Endless lines at stores.

Money no one can afford having to be spent.

Whose family's feelings do we want to hurt this year?

Memories of those who are no longer with us.

I have to admit, I am pretty depressed about the whole thing and have yet to place my first Christmas ornament or buy my first present. Blah.

(OK....except for on Farmtown, what is wrong with me???)

This time of year is very hard for a lot of folks. Just try to be kind to yourself, mkay?

Hop a plane to WA. You can play in the snow and I'll take the photographic evidence. Oh, and you can help me do this ---> :dogwalking:

I have done that a lot too, I am sincerely not sure which is worse.

One year a friend and I bought yummy food, made pretty red and green drinks and rented some good movies, to be honest, it is one of my fondest Christmas Day memories ever.

I prefer the more homey, comfortable holiday events to the formal ones. You can't wear your pjs to the company party, after all.

Dear Random Posters,

I came in here to apologize to all of you for the comment that I made the other day about being depressed this time of the year. I realize that I failed to think about the impact of My words and in the end I upset many of you, which was certainly not My intention at all. I suffer from depression and know how hard it can be to function on even the simplest of days, so I should certainly have thought more about the impact of My statement before posting it (actually I shouldn't have even posted it at all).

I hope that you can all forgive Me for making that comment, I am sincerely sorry and do hope that you all know how much I love being here with you at the Planet :heartbeat:

Just_G 12-08-2009 11:19 AM

So I had this dream and I just HAVE to share it with you!
A bunch of us were at a reunion, where Belinda Carlisle was working the greeting table. I knew she looked familiar, but it didn't register with me. (I am a tad bit slow sometimes...even in my dreams apparently!) So she comes around the table to say hello to me; I ask her screen name and she replies "Cougar4G". :thud: (I have no idea what happened to her after that)

Next thing I know, I am entering the cooking stadium (much like the one on tv where all the chefs compete), where there was a BFP cookoff getting ready to take place.:cooking: The dish was mac-n-cheese. So I come walking in with a box of Kraft, when Diva grabs me and pulls me to the side, getting on to me about how we can't use a powder mix to compete...and to go to the store to buy some milk!
The other competing chefs that day were: Medusa & Cheech, Jagg & Novela, Diva & me, and Bobby Flay & Pinkielee. Medusa kept laughing at me because of the powder mix thing:pointing:. PinkieLee kept saying "Poor G!" :giggle:

Then when they said "GO!" to start the cooking, Medusa put curtains up all around her kitchen because she didn't want anyone seeing her secret recipe! :shocking:

It was a strange dream to say the least....very strange. I am all kinds of discombobulated today because of it! :seeingstars:

Poor G. I'd let ya use the mix, but you'd have to add stuff to it. I've added diced red peppers and extra real cheese and jalapenos. Nummy good! Don't forget to bring something to drink though. :spit:

Well funny you should "mention this".

I was going TO GET AN OIL change today, thus the need to "check" out my account!

I just couldn't go to the car place at 5AM, I had to wait a tad until they actually opened.

Some "sharp women" here! I gotta admit... (And I had my "fluids" checked out too! Anti-freeze, "read to go"!)

Finally, the money stuff NEVER depresses me! I LOVE paying my bills! (Truly)
