Happiness is...
Having my entire family drive to the city to surprise me with an entire Easter dinner since I can't make it home this year. Three amazing spring days in a row... I love this time of year! I feel like I can finally breathe again! Registering for summer softball! Oooohhhh, it's going to be SO good! I can't wait! Watching my silly roommate that I adore dance around to obnoxious teen pop music around our living room. |
Having Ami pick me up and go for a drive in my slippers, and then to the store, at midnight LOL

watching Bob bury pieces of dogfood in the bed. He is such a silly guy. He is saving them for later. Only does it when there are just a few pieces left in his bowl. Like I am not going to put anymore in there. Punk.

Walking in to the bright morning kitchen to grab my first cup... and hearing that American Goldfinch singing at the top of it's lungs in my back yard.

Freshly mowed grass, a starry night. Mocha Frappe, jasmine candles and my two bitches who come by and take very good care of me.

Watching my grand daughters eyes light up when she can hear my voice but not yet see me... Watching her do her little army crawl then her impersonation of a inch worm that somehow brings her to a sitting position... Her 4 toothed smile... Her fearlessness... Her laugh which is contagious... Her beautiful mommy... Hot coffee... Collecting on payment owed in the form of a hour and a half massage... I won't get this until Monday but it sure makes me smile knowing I will be getting one... My job rocks! |

Laughter, and teased out hair with safety goggles, Enrique smiles, and the other studmuffin, good even if difficult conversations, and looking forward! Happiness is really grasping every moment and squeezing the life out of it.
