I woke up with a either a toothache or a sinus infection that is making my whole body hurt. Ever notice that the older you get the more an ache in one place radiates to others? (Ok, that sounds kinda good in some ways. Heh.)

Incubus - interesting pics!
Will have to take a look at the link you provided. I don't mind looking at other people's self portraits but can't stand to look at myself! And the spanakopita looks interesting - I don't think I've ever had it. Must try sometime. MS - where have you today? No snow in the forecast I hope. I'm not up to much today - might go do some laundry if I can get my butt in gear. Other than that I've got some knitting I want to do, some reading - - and then there's the Olympics. You know in December I was in a store and saw the mittens and thought $10 is too much to pay. Now you can't find those things anywhere. I've was going to get a hockey jersey but the ones they have in the stores aren't as good as the one I got for the 2006 Olympics.....unless I want to pay almost triple for a really fancy one! I don't think so!!!! |

Ta ever so Wryly :D - the project was one helluva a year, it's pretty much a visual blog.
I can highly recommend spanakopita; an unctuous mix of spinach, feta and (lots of ) garlic just can't fail to be tasty - the trick is to squeeze out as much liquid as possible from the spinach/greens or your filo pastry just disintegrates ...I was inspired to have a go making it after trying a few versions at a 'Continental Market' in Lincoln (uk) I hope you're enjoying the Olympics today.
