Today i am planning on putting the finishing touches on the new closet space. I have to sort through some old bedding and such to make room on the shelves. Goodwill gets another delivery today.

We got a load of used bikes comin' into the workshop today, I suspect my job will be to ascertain what needs fettlin' on them. It's gonna be a busy day.

Well, this was my busy, busy first day home from vaca... -- Finish unloading car and putting things away. CHECK -- Get car washed. CHECK -- Go to Post Office. CHECK -- Return small item at big box electronics store. NO GO -- return tomorrow. -- Get Rebate at big box home goods store. Purchase new item. CHECK -- Get gasoline. CHECK -- Get groceries at fruit & vegetable market. CHECK -- Work into evening hours. CHECK -- Go on walk with pup. CHECK -- Make personal phone call. CHECK -- Eat late dinner. Today was a day to sit back at least this morning.i soaked in a luxurious bath for an hour or so. It was heaven. i made oatmeal almond cookies for a snack. The dog went for a walk to the dog park. He had a wonderful time.
i will cook dinner and just bask tonight in the glow of the coolish day. Well not really cool but cooler. Tomorrow will be an entry into hell again as the electricians will be here for 6 to 8 hours replacing the electric panel and adding new circuits to the lower level. No power so tomorrow i will be gone all day. |

With only three more days till I leave for Vegas I will be finaly packing tha giant suit case I bought.I have piles and piles of things on my dresser or hanging in the closet,I know I will only be gone for a week theire are things I am takeing in the med department that I need or may use if needed,the Rx's will go with me in the cary on,shirts to run the iron over so thay will be nice and neet,dress shoes to polish ect..ect.It just hit me ast night that we really were going to compete in the national team tournament for ladies 8 ball,when I checked there were 32 teans on the bracket so we are guarenteed to play atleast twice.I probly will give both my fur kids a bath then do some laundry

My agenda?
Yeah, my agenda for today is definitely going to be getting out in public as often as possible. My hair is very straight and, having some extra time on my hands, I felt like "experimenting" with my look, lol. So naturally, never having done so before, I decided that I needed to put my hair in rollers overnight. And, always admiring a headful of curls, I certainly wasn't going to just settle for some mere loose waves (because I'm an extremist like that; just ask anyone who knows me, lol). I read that there is actually a trick to doing this properly, but never having been one to let details get in my way, I continued without finishing the tutorial; undaunted by reason or common sense. Taking the tiniest rollers available, I enthusiastically twisted up my hair in all directions and wrapped it so tightly that I looked like I had just had a facelift. Imagine my delight this morning when I took my hair down, loosened it, and saw the reflection that gazed back at me sporting high 1980s glam! And it's great because it's only going to get more sophisticated as the day wears on because I live in the most humid region in the US! The curls sticking straight out at my temples because my hair is in layers are particularly fabulous because I look like Einstein which is pretty awesome! Now please excuse me while I go pick out a pair of leg warmers to compliment the rest of my ensemble... |
I have a hundred things that I want to do around the house.(clean off my desk, paint a wall, paint new art for the living room or my office. I'm tired of both. New nail polish for the kiddo.)
I think I might want to cook dinner tonight. I really should get my nails done. I have a feeling I may just sit in this chair a while though. :) |
