Not too much to smile about today as I'm researching WW2 Death Camps for a poster I have to design. :blink:
However, an unexpected skype call from the exhausted girl after a 12hr shift at the fish-gulag (she's a teacher but work is thin on the ground) made me smile...what made the smile a dirty great grin is when she told me she's going to drive over bright and early on Monday morning to come wake me up. :cheesy: |

Watching all my Mom's HP family gather to see her off on her new adventure. She was so scared and excited, big life changes for an 85 year old. Watching my brother hold her hand as he walked her down to the car and seat belted her in was very sweet. The incredible silence here right now, is also smile worthy. DEEEP BREATHHHHHHH

cuddled up on the couch and on my lap next to me most of the afternoon as I watched a few movies he is very loving he is a sweetie. He made me smile and feel all cuddly. |

Watching the documentary "Edie and Thea", the story of 2 New York lesbians, engaged for 41 years before they married in Canada. It was very touching to hear them talk about one another and their lives together. Edie was one of the people who supposedly influenced Obama's decision to no longer fight DOMA. She filed suit to reclaim the $300,000+ she was forced to pay in inheretance taxes after Thea's death. |
My son saying he wants to take me out to dinner. He is usually so busy with friends and stuff on his day off i never see or hear from him.

I've been giving a dear differently abled boy a ride to school as getting down the hill to the bus stop is hard for him. I figure I'm going there every day for the Wee One.
today his dad dropped by to thank me, and we got to talking about computers. He took mine and thinks he can fix it!!!! Yay it will be great to be able to get online whenever I want again :praying: so yeah I'm smiling... |

The beautiful sunrise! It was huge and a brillant shade of coral metalic orange my fav . color and it seem to hang low for a long time , amazing! Almost like it was just sitting, waiting for me to notice it was my fav. color. Made me smile.
