Leftover mac and cheese mixed with ham and green peas. It wasn't great, but it was passable. I will say, I don't think the $3.99 box of Cracker Barrel mac and cheese is that much better than the $.99 Kraft mac and (powdered) cheese. Certainly not $3 better.

You know, I have two of their boxes that I haven't used yet. The cheddar Havarti and the sharp white cheddar. Was one of those what you had? I did have another one, the one with bacon in it, and that was pretty good.

The Cheddar Havarti is the one I tried. I was thinking if it goes on sale, I might try the bacon one, so thanks for the review.

Supper

Baked potato, two fillets of sole and steamed spinach.

Jesse 06-19-2016 06:39 PM

Well heck! When I got to the store where I purchase lo carb bread from, they had already closed. :( Oh well, saves me from having to make mayo today.

So, I will have a couple of the dogs along with a caprese salad,(I'm on a kick) and maybe some creamed spinach, or a sweet potato. I am much too hungry to care which one of those two I have. Lol!

I had a late lunch before I went hiking..

I made the siriracha chicken again. I'm hooked.

This time I seared the chicken in olive oil and then started some green beans in the pan leanings..also used the pepper blend (frozen) and made rice on the side.

I think this sauce would make awesome wings in the crock pot...and I think it's Asian element could be brought out with pineapple..teriyaki sauce...that nice Thai sauce...maybe some peanuts and ginger...

Its just Damn good

can of tuna with both sweet cube and dill cube pickles plus some mayo mixed in, can of pork and beans, saltines, fresh strawberries on the side, milk to drink

To be honest, I did add in some extra bacon. Can't go wrong with extra bacon.

I'm having leftover sauteed hearts, chopped spinach salad with a French vinaigrette and cottage cheese with a blend of black & cayenne pepper. A few blueberries for dessert and cold spring water to drink.

Kid's choice. They shop. They cook. I pay.

I predict my 13 year old son (vegetarian) will buy a Mac n cheese frozen dinner.

My 15 year old daughter (vegan) will definitely get frozen fries.

MsTinkerbelly 06-20-2016 05:28 PM

I put kidney beans, whole grain quinoa, veggies and veggie stock in the crockpot early this morning....by the yummy smell coming from my kitchen, I would say it's about done!

Chad 06-20-2016 05:30 PM

Dinner

I had a beef taco with chips, queso, and salsa.

Gemme 06-20-2016 05:52 PM

I had mac 'n cheese with hamburger and bacon mixed in. Not healthy but it worked. Melted Frosty and root beer candy barrels too.

Orema 06-20-2016 06:03 PM

Onion soup. I'm too tired to make anything else.

Liam 06-20-2016 07:33 PM

I made a sandwich - smoked gouda and sliced tomatoes, had some chips and water, and called it dinner. :)

Blade 06-20-2016 10:02 PM

Hamburger
Homemade tater chips
Peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream

stargazingboi 06-21-2016 01:13 PM

So, today's vegan kitchen creations:

3 bean tamale pie and mushroom stroganoff

which one I will have for dinner is still a mystery
