I had no problem sleeping in this morning because I couldn't get to sleep last night. I woke up at 2:30 pm when the phone rang. I had a good sleep once I finally got to sleep. Then I spent some time outside with Brittany. Lovely day.

I had a slow kind of heavy feeling morning. Then, visited my father, and then went to explore an island with my hiking buddy. It was just what we both needed. Fresh cold brisk air, exercise, and some really beautiful nature. It turned the day around for the better.

Great day with Best Butch. We had Church earlier and then lunch. Always a great day with her! Maybe she will come over later and I'll make dinner?? We are so lazy right now.. lol 😆 |

We are at the end of what was supposed to be a pretty epic snow storm. There was snow and freezing rain but it wasn't too bad. I'm not actually moved into my new home yet but I'm spending the weekend there and it's just... so good. There's so much to love. I'm sick with a cold but it's not as bad as all of my co-workers had so I'm grateful for that. I'm drinking tea and making soup and snuggling with my cats. Oh, and finishing some Zentangles to mail out in a few days. |

Yay, day off! Actually two days off in a row. I got to sleep in without an alarm. I've enjoyed my coffee, roasted some chickpeas. I tried this new pasta sauce recipe with grape tomatoes and boursin cheese. I saw it come across a FB feed. Tastes really good and was super easy. I'm letting it refrigerate all day. I found a great deal at Publix, 3 pints of tomatoes for $4.00. Talking about Publix, I wanted tuna. I saw the post with tuna and elbow macaroni. So, I found a deal, on the bottom shelf. 5 for $5. But when I rang it up, the sale didn't show. It was ringing at 1.49. I asked, they checked the signage and it was wrong, so I got the tuna for free!! I have a DIY project I want to finish today. And then I plan on spending the rest of the afternoon outside in my gardens. I wish you all an easy Sunday and find what makes you smile. |

My Sunday was a nice rainy day. I puttered around the house, rearranged some furniture, put up some art, and fixed a shower curtain rod that was hung too low. Then I went to my parents house for a bit. I had made them a big dinner the night before so we didn't have to cook and enjoyed leftovers followed by playing cards. Then it was time for reading and relaxing. |

I hope everybody had a great Sunday! My Sunday morning was overeasy because I didn't have to get out of bed and go to Urgent Care! I woke up early, prepared to take a shower and go, and I went online first to see how long the wait was and if I could snag an appointment. To my happy surprise, my Urgent Care place has added Telehealth appointments! I registered online and only had to wait about 45 minutes for a callback from the doc. Then I went back to sleep for four more hours before heading out to pick up my prescription!

My Sunday morning was spent sleeping. When I got up I had a coffee and an asiago bagel with cream cheese and watched Scandal. I hope everyone had a great Sunday!

Sunday morning was so peaceful. It was cool and raining. After a few morning chores it was time to sit out on the back porch with the dog and the cat. We listened to some folk music and I read for a while. It was a treat to have it nice enough outside to enjoy the porch for so long!

Sunday..
Picked up Best Butch @9:30 this morning. We headed off to the beach. I hit the water first and floated around for about a half an hour then I came back up and sat in the Sun. Then she went out in the water for a little while and I started noticing people were standing up with their phones towards the water. Didn't think anything of it until I heard her say, as she was coming up off the beach, "oh yeah I saw it up close." I turned to look and I could see a fin and I thought, oh dolphins are out there. But no, there were a couple of sharks. So that was the end of the water time. We sat around in the Sun for a little bit longer and left to go eat lunch. We went to a Beachside Bar and Grill. We love to sit at the bar so she had a beer and I had a beer mixed with lemonade. We shared oysters and a really good fish sandwich. Then we realized we needed to go home and do our Sunday chores,like go to the grocery store. But our Sunday morning was great. |
