If I was nearby and you were making it, I'd be happy to have some of yours though. That sounds like it might just do the trick!

Tonight I had kale salad for dinner.

The bacon grease would add fat true but the healthy part of them (nutrients etc) would remain in tact. Thus still giving you the health benefits. Just sayin. Yum Brussel sprouts. Lol!

No!!! Blech. No more. If I have to cover something healthy in something unhealthy and artery clogging, it's not worth it to me. There is more for you now.

You are welcome.

Dinner tonight will be baked drumsticks, rutabaga cubed and steamed, then mashed with butter, a little evaporated milk, turmeric, rosemary, & S&P. Also steamed zucchini and yellow squash.

Wellllll....If we want to be technical..... Brussel sprouts are supposed to have cholesterol reducing agents. So maybe that would even itself and not clog the arteries? *laughs* couldnt help myself.

But I know that will not convince you. ;)

I do not want them all.... I don't like them THAT much lol.

Crazy healthy little things though.

Grilled chicken skewer and vegetable fried rice.

Blade 07-28-2016 02:34 PM

Good question, maybe I will know later

Gemme 07-28-2016 03:29 PM

I don't want anything! I'm in a mood and cranky and just don't feel like doing anything special so it will likely be me heating up the leftover kale and chourico soup I had for lunch yesterday. That's always easy and delicious so I should be good. Maybe I'll have some ice cream for dessert. That usually makes me feel better.

Dinner

I am having half a turkey sandwich with ice tea.

GeorgiaMa'am 07-28-2016 09:29 PM

From The Varsity:
- a chili dog
- a chili cheeseburger (pimiento cheese)
- onion rings

It's my once-a-year oil change.

I saw the Varsity on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives and have wanted to eat there ever since. Thank you for posting that you got to eat there.

Homemade BBQ wings, salad and fruit. I can't wait! I skipped breakfast and lunch as I did chores.

Brooklyn 07-29-2016 01:16 PM

I think I am finally going to order those chicken wings I have been wanting all week-- and will probably just have that. *rubbing my tummy to get it ready*

Blade 07-29-2016 02:23 PM

Chicken wings and a salad

Gemme 07-29-2016 07:07 PM

I had some sort of Asian chicken TV dinner from Smart Ones that was mediocre. The ice cream was delicious, though.

Stone-Butch 07-29-2016 09:46 PM

Couldn't decide what I wanted. So after roaming the grocery store for a little while, I decided to make nachos.

It was a excellent choice.

I'm going back to the nursing home today, after being gone a week because my spouse hasn't been well. So I just packed a pb&j for me for dinner tonight.....:seeingstars:

cinnamongrrl 07-30-2016 03:55 PM

My daughter and I had a busy day so I started dinner in the crock before I left...

It started out as sriacha chicken...but then I added mixed pepper strips from the freezer. When I got home I added a can of diced tomatoes (partly drained) and a bag of broccoli cauliflower carrot mix. Jasmine rice is cooking...smells SO GOOD in here

Blade 07-30-2016 04:09 PM

BBQ pulled pork
Fried squash
4 mater and cucumber salad
Tea

Mom brought dessert not sure what youcall it, but it is to die for
