Going camping again in a couple of weeks with the GF, because I found a state beach available campsite, on the beach with nothing in front of us but the sand and ocean and,
full hookups so I can have electricity and showers (and can flush!). It is the first time I have had hook-ups! This is my kind of "camping"! :moonstars: |
Seeing her and the kids in a couple of weeks.

Next Monday (the 17th). When I start the job that I have always wanted, wished for, was made to do - to make a difference. There is no better feeling than what I am feeling right now.

I just put in 12 days at work, straight! Errrr I'm off for 4 days, I was suppose to have a weekend with the girls at the casino in Louisiana. However, retail is full of surprises, and we Aren't going. I'm kinda happy, because I need some Blaze time. He just booked us a room at the beach. Some homemade brownies that were on my desk when I came in this morning. I haven't had a brownie this year. Yeah, I'm lookin' forward to having this with a cup of coffee later this morning.

I am looking forward to some time off this week. I am going to a knitting shop out of town on Friday with a friend which will be fun. Then next week I only have 2 more shifts until vacation which will be a trip home to see my family followed by DragonCon! Wooo!

The U.S. Open Tennis Tournament!!
Was gifted tickets for the finals next weekend. As an awesome aside, Andy Murray (world's number 3) coach is former number 1 in women's tennis, no other than Amelie Mauressmo. I`m looking forward to `the summer that never was to be over` and Autumn to arrive, I want to wear my boots again, enjoy candlelight in the evening, watch the leaves begin to turn and those beautiful sunsets and plan my new season activities and even start thinking about...... dare I say it..Christmas..:blush:

Hopefully, the word on the street is right and Apple is finally coming out with a touch-sensitive stylus for the new iPad-Pro that's as good as Samsung's touch-sensitive stylus. If so, I'll order one this week. |
