Sitting across from my wife at the dinner table as we both took the first bite of the delicious roast and roasted veggies we cooked for dinner. There was silence with lots of "mmmms". Sometimes you just don't have to say anything except "pass the gravy honey".....

The UPS tracker I have on my house telling emailing me about a package due to be here tomorrow that I didn't order...lol time to act shocked. Got to love Valentines Day

That all it takes is chocolate chip cookies to blast the kid out of the tub to finish her class valentines. Phew, bedtime delayed was worth it to see her work so hard on writing everyone's name. I only got to write the name of the mean boy who hit her today.

taking off in my dually for a joy ride. First time since my surgery that I went for a ride. I had gone to the dollar store one block away a couple weeks ago and damn near passed out at the register but I was feeling much better and decided to try it. God it felt so good to feel independent again!

It's pink and red day and today I go get my photographs. Finally, after taking 6 months to get around to it. lol

this whole day has been such a fantastic one..from MY BFF to all my incredibly wonderful freinds here to that certain someone who is minding my stars lately! I am hearted..in so many ways.....big smile |
My girl gave me sweet lovin after the kids went to school, then curled up and took a nap together. :) Then she took me to pick out Pandora beads. She's so lovable and sweet!!

Starting my day with puppy snuggles from both furbabies ....treating myself to getting my hair chopped off and feeling great as I looked at the new me...sharing a great dinner, getting a raspberry smoothie for dessert at my favorite coffee shop and sharing LOTS of great laughter at funny stories with 3 great friends that I enjoy very much...getting wonderful messages from other friends wishing me happy hearts day ( I love each of said friends beyond words)....and ending my day with more puppy cuddles.... it was a great day!

Looking at the big ole smile on Red's face when she got home from work to day and I had her favorite meal on the menu and all she had to do was change clothes and relax. I love pleasing her and she loves me cooking for her. :-)

Co workers that support me and encourage me every day, giving me new hope that all my efforts are not in vain.
Living in the middle of nowhere beautiful country brought me joy today on a sunny day... then it felt good that even so far out of town, the local police still take the time to look out for my safety and cared enough just to check on me after some questionable individuals were apparently up-to-no-good at the end of my drive lane. I love small town communities where people still look out for their neighbors. Had a good day.... mostly besides being exhausted Thinking about spending time with my nieces. And puppy snores bring me joy. |
Putting on my tight pants...that weren't so tight, Pinterest, chocolate covered strawberries one of my co-workers brough to work, my kitties saying hi when I got home, and my new found "place".
