Got up yesterday and the whole planet was white, woke up today and it is all gone. Only 35o but calm and cool.

5° with a wind chill the feels like -2°.

It's breezy, pleasantly windy. Today's high was 77°. An absolutely perfect day. The only alert was, be careful of riptides and small craft advisories.

I'm sitting on my porch listening to the wind chimes and the palm trees swaying.

Its a balmy 23 here today with gusty winds so I can watch the beautiful evergreens bow to the whims of Mother Nature, while listening to the howling in the rafters. A wonderful blistery winters day.

Snow is almost gone but still a little breezy, much better day. Suppose to be sunny tomorrow 34o.

It's been raining here off and on the past few days. Tonight is one of them.

35° and about six inches of snow on the ground

We got a skiff of snow last week, but mostly it's every version of rain you can imagine: heavy misting, out right rainfall, sideways rainfall... boat weather, is what I call it (sometimes).

39 degrees (tonight).

Day time high: maybe 47 degrees.

We had a few hours of sunshine though: Lots of huge thunder-clouds, massive cloud structures.

Currently 34*F out, about what it has been all day. Too cold and rainy to go outside.

32*F and sunny outside this morning. It looks beautiful through the window, but I will not be going out in that cold. High of 46*F today.

My weather app shows a picture background which is supposed to be reflective of the current weather. My picture today is of a beach chair with a tropical drink on the table next to it, beside a swimming pool with a float in it, all under palm trees. Well I'm sure they have weather like that somewhere today, but not in my area.

It is 30° now. When I left for the office this morning it was in the 20's.

43° and sunny today

It was 51*F at 5pm and I went outside and sat on the porch swing for a little while. There was a slight breeze and my chimes were ringing. Somebody nearby was doing their laundry, and all I could smell was laundry soap. My sense of smell must be coming back after Covid.

4 hrs. later and its 23 out there now, damn cold and super windy but at least the snow is holding off again as very little fell so far.

50*F and sunny, with a high of 56*F today! No rain in sight. Plenty warm enough for a walk.

30° and snowing

64*F and cloudy. Will definitely be going out to the porch swing with a glass of wine before dinner.

Nothing but blazing sunshine today, although it's very very cold here.

Supposedly, we will get up to a foot of snow and we're under a winter storm warning watch. We most likely will stay home, if the snow forecast comes true.

High today: 40 degrees.

Low tonight: Low 30s.

Yesterday it was nearly seventy degrees. Today we didn't reach forty and for the next week'ish, we won't get above freezing. Snow please.

Very cold sunny days and snow on the way. Was nice out today actually with no gusty winds.

Right now it's 33 degrees with 8 miles per winds.

I guess it's suppose to snow here at some point, the weather people seem to be hedging their bets as to just when however!

It could be later today or this evening, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday from what I gather from their ramblings!

Thunderstorms today. Good for napping but not so much for sitting outside or driving. Supposed to rain all weekend.

20° and getting colder

Snow showers tonight and at around midnight it's down to 19 degrees. Forecast is for highs in the 20's all weekend long. Driving winds are making it feel like it's only 8 degrees out.

Alpine Skier Weather
 

We have half a foot of snow and ice and snow is still coming down, at this hour. The Columbia Gorge is closed due to white out/blizzard conditions. Highways in the metro area are snow covered, and iced down since last night.

High today: 29-32 degrees.

Low tonight: less than 20 degrees.

We most likely won't be able to travel safely until after the federal holiday on Monday (President's Day).

It snowed in Texas. We lost power and water. We got power back but it will be days without water. Snow = water.

Snow has given up for a while. We have about 5 or 6''. Not much wind so little blowing snow. Parking lot is clear as our guy plows then drops salt. Salt on the sidewalks after shoveling make it smooth walking. Very cold indeed suppose to get colder.

I just happened to be out driving at 6 a.m. this morning, and we had a teeny tiny bit of snow. It was really just a dusting. None of it stuck to the road but I had a bit on my mailbox. Temps around 29*F all day.

Rico and I were homebound without power for over 5 days. We got a fuck ton of ice and snow. We even got time off from work, with pay, hazardous weather pay.

I returned to work today. Roads are somewhat safe, but many are still without power. We have read about serious tragedies everywhere here at home and nation wide.

We are safe. Finally.

Next weather flash concerns rapid melt and flooding.

It's been a little crazy in Funkytown. Right now it's 26 with a feels like of 12 but it's a little windy this morning. That though, is as warm as it's been since last week and this nightmare is finally moving out. We just aren't prepared for anything like this Winter storm, down here. Our homes, roads, etc aren't built to take that kind of hit. Clearly. Our entire infrastructure is on the brink of collapse ffs. Not gonna lie, it's been brutal but Texans are tough and we'll get through this. Somehow, I've kept electricity during it all but there is no water and the water we did have, was contaminated. Small inconvenience for me compared to what others are suffering.

Anyhow.... we're supposed to be flirting with 70s next week so there is that! Just have to get all of this ice and snow out of here. It's been beautiful to look at but it came at a very high price.
