I had the small Greek salad that I brought home last night, but I am going to grill some burgers later on and will likely have one of those as well.

BLT's in romaine leaves
(and "someone" bought the wrong brand of thick sliced bacon, trying to save a penny or two, and it wasn't me) so I had Bacon, limp, with tomato...:( |
Steak baked potatoe and salad.

I had a bowl of kale and chourico soup and the last of the Panera mac 'n cheese. I had a popsicle and I think it was berry flavored, but I can't remember.

Grabbed us each a sub from Subway since we were busy with the dog and spouse had a doctor appt. I had a veggie patty sub with tons of veggies and she had an Italian something? :eatinghersheybar:

I had an almond crusted flounder with Greek pasta salad and a Laughing Cow pepperjack wedge with Grainsfirst whole grain crackers.

A slice of turkey meatloaf, a half of a baked sweet potato, and some roasted cauliflower and Brussels sprouts.

Palak Paneer and a piece of apple pie

Half of a huge roasted pork torta with extra avocado and salsa verde

Let me preface this by saying my youngest daughter is an amazing cook.
She loves hibachi so she got the ingredients necessary and made some for breakfast (she has my cast iron stomach) and I took home a plate for lunch. She made shrimp, beef tips, fried rice and sauteed veggies. It was so.friggin.good. |
Dinner
We had grilled ribeye steaks, smashed roasted potatoes, and corn on the cob.

I made:
1) a homemade sundried tomato pesto added spinach and mushrooms mixed in penne pasta. 2) pasta with a reg red sauce for young blood 3) rice to go with the left over pinto beans what I actually ate...a small bowl of rice *shrugs* not really feeling the food thing...cooking yes, eating not so much |
I wasnt much in the mood to cook tonight and my spouse wasn't hungry, so I just put some frozen French fries in a baking dish with frozen veggie spring rolls and that was supper.:hangloose::hangloose::hangloose:

I made One Pot Rice Bowl, at least that's what I call it. Tonight it has a blend of basmati rice and red & white quinoa, cannellini beans, spinach, white sweet potato, garlic, onion, red & yellow sweet pepper, portabellas and various herbs & spices. I usually add some chunked avocado to the bowl and whatever chopped raw veggies I have on hand, right now it's baby asparagus stalks.
