I'm not in the health care field....I'm an admin assistant which means I can work in alot of different area's only am having a hard time finding a job so figured that I'd talk with a career counselor

I am having the same problem here in Florida. That is why I am going back to school in order to find a job.

Good evening everyone! I hope you've had a good day.

Sorry to hear you're under the weather Maggie. I went to my Dr for my 3 month checkup thing and found out I had a bad sinus infection, severe bronchitis and possibly pneumonia in my right lung. Hell, I just thought I had a bad cold and was taking cold meds for it. But he put me on Levaquin, 3rd day and I'm feeling much better! Now if I can get rid of the hacking cough I'd be awesome!!

Hope you get to feeling better! See if your dr will let you take, Zyrtec. I found when I had my sinus infection, that helped me breaths!

Hi Zimmy,

Oh I can breathe now out of my nose, lol. Today was day 3 on the antibiotic and all I have left now is a hacking cough, lol. Levaquin is a pretty powerful antibiotic as you only take 1 a day. He's got me on em for 5 days total, so I'm over halfway there. He also gave me an inhaler when I start coughing and can't seem to stop, lol. It works pretty good for that as well. I'm doing a heck of a lot better, Miss Scarlett can tell I sounded pretty rough for a couple days there, chuckles.

I'm sick as snot too! Bad chest congestion, about to cough up a lung. I am on the Augmentin, inhaler, mucinex. Usin da Neti pot.

Sorry to hear you're sick with the crud too Cowboi, it sucks!! My Dr said there was a lot of it going around, he said about everyone he's seen in the past couple of weeks have been people with either a bad cold, the flu or pneumonia. Keep warm, taking your meds and I hope you feel better soon!

Being sick is for the birds. My mom had that cough for two weeks. I had pneumonia almost six years ago and it was horrible. The only antibiotic I could take was Biaxin, which is a steroid based antibiotic. Now if I am sick for more than five days, I have a good chance of being admitted.

How was your holiday weekend?

I have been looking too in the healthcare field I use indeed.com for searching all the time they are very good and have everything..I'm sleepy now took my nighttime meds so off to bed I go hope everyone is on the mend and getting better..My left eye is swollen not shut not yet but yucky I need drops from the doctor or pharmacy. NO car it is still in the dealer, will find out tomorrow..I will take a cab if I have to...there are lots of them here in NJ..

Gail, see if you can get a loaner or even a courtesy car/ride from the dealership to the pharmacy tomorrow.

Well I did not win the Mega mill. Booooo!!!!!! I have off tomorrow. Yeah!!!! I have noone to cuddle with. Booo! I have all day to watch movies. Yeah!!!!
Anyone want to come over and hang out???? We can watch the snow fall. They say 1 to 2 inches. Last time they said that we got 24 inches. Guess the machine was not working well that day.
CF I thought you were in the medical field???????

I'll come hang with you...i'm feeling better. I remember the last time they said we were just getting a few inches when I lived in the DC area we got 2 1/2 feet of snow!
No, I'm an admin assistant...I've worked in lots of fields...medical, legal etc....

I am so excited that classes start again on the 18th, then I can learn all about Spanish, human nutrition and American history!

My eye seems a little bit better today but still swollen, my thoughts and prayers are with you DomnNC, CF, Cowboi hope you are on the mend..and getting better each day, I think I am going to keep hot compresses on it to make it feel better and now we have snow out there UGH on the snow..just stay in and cuddle up and stay warm..

Good Morning everyone. Got home to find Holli moving really slow and hunched over as she walks. She is certainly not feeling well. I got her in for a vet appt at 11. I hate to see her this way.
