Lighting a candle for our local firefighters today. We have one who lost his life and eight who are hospitalized after fighting a blaze in a medical complex downtown today. Thoughts and prayers to all, and especially to the wife and three children of the fallen. :candle::praying:

That we know within who we are and what we mean to those who love us. That we give that love freely in return. That we seek out our purpose here on Earth and fulfill that purpose the best we can. I am lighting a candle for my old supervisor. She lost her mother about the middle of July and lastnight, she got a phone call at work, telling her, that her father was on life support. Losing a parent is very hard; but losing both parents within a month of each other is harder. My thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family in this time..
