Spending lots of time at the emerald mine this year.

And marking off a few things from my Bucket List..

I'm so excited!! Looking forward to getting the new 12'x24' deck moved over and set up! It's gonna be an awesome space for my outdoor kitchen, grill and table! And in the future maybe a hot tub.

I have the day off and I'm going to visit the Biltmore to see their wedding gowns in cinema exhibit...and I'm going to take the dogs for a good hike....

Saturday...

I'm going to the symphony. I was gifted a ticket by a wonderful client..

Seeing my girl and the kiddo in 3 weeks

Our 1 year anniversary is coming up too so I am looking for ward to that.

Homemade slow cooked BBQ ribs tonight, made with the special dry rub seasoning that dear friends sent from Jim'n Nick's.

It is called "Daisy, The Cow That Came Out Of The Closet":blush: Daisy is a magical cow who lives with her human grandparents, and gets into a little trouble in town.

Its my only day off this week...and I'm still not sure what to do...

I'm thinking about exploring more of the grounds at Biltmore with the dogs...everywhere is so busy on the weekends...

Tonight...

Im thinking about taking the dogs with me to hear an Irish music jam in Black Mountain. The venue welcomes dogs and there's even a comfy couch to sit on....several in fact. And beer. There will be beer there. I need to branch out some more and try other local stuff besides my beloved Highland

did not leave work until 7:30 tonight ... wired up a little code in app to check if Oracle database is available ... sends user a message if Oracle is down ... then wrote a one liner which will be executed at command line - it will bring down the server Oracle resides on ... tuned it so as to give me enough time before server restart to run the app, assure that I get the message "Oracle Database is Down, Contact Programming & Support ... fun and easy ---> just like I like!

Thinking I may create a Scheduled Task tomorrow morning to replace the one- liner at command line. Tidier and more crisp.

Exhausted, hope I can shut this mind off code, go to sleep when I do "lights out" after I brush my teeth and wash my face.

Seeing my oldest son, submitting Amazon craft supply order, shopping for stuff appropriate for a three year old so when my youngest son's new girlfriend comes over with her son I will have things for him to see, eat, play with, listen to - do while he's here. :)

Next weekend's films and events and enjoying two nights at a hotel in a town a couple of hours away :)

I am looking forward to seeing my thirteen year old stepdaughter in the School production of Grease this Sunday. She is playing the role of Sandy.

I'm planning a group camping trip near Gatlinburg and I'm so excited about the enthusiastic response from everyone.

It'll be super fun to plan outings and evenings for my community :)
