May I say a phrase instead of a word? In that case it's: "everyone has problems". I mean seriously how hard is it to grasp that not everyone has the same amount of problems, not every problem is the same and not every person has the same capacity, bakgrund etc. Can't we all try to respekt each others journeys? Life can be hard enough as it is...

"i'm just saying." and then leaving it at that. Then there is the ever annoying 'cray cray'

also, all the newly added acronyms we have because we can't be bothered to type out a full word.

JDeere 11-24-2014 12:53 PM

The term WHATEVER!

What word are you tired of?

I know this has been said a million times already, so here is a million and one:

"Like" (even though I am guilty of using it, I am not a fan of the word)

whatever ( ughhh come on)

cute ( to describe someone attractive, kids, dogs, cats, a shirt, basically everything)

irregardless ...is that even a word?!?

It is what it is ..... and what might that be? I want to cry every time I hear that

normalcy is legit. the made up word that people commonly use is normalacy.

Candelion 11-26-2014 09:06 PM

I love the word surreal....

...but I hate its overuse. I swear, people use it to describe the most ordinary events.

e.g. "I went to the store to buy some dress socks. I found them right there in the sock section. Omg! It was so surreal." :|

gotoseagrl 11-26-2014 09:51 PM

When people overuse "right" in the form of a question while in agreement with something. Example ... Person 1: it's way too cold outside! Person 2: Right?! :sigh:

Clyde 11-27-2014 02:48 AM

"Adhesive".

Think you'll find normality is English usage, normalcy is American usage. Not heard of or seen it in Brit language usage, literature or media.
Never heard or seen t"other one you're telling me is a mistake.

Another over~used word I"m coming to loathe is "Boom!" as congratulatory exclaimation.
