Because when i'm in the shower and i'm squealing because i found out that when i bought shampoo it was actually conditioner, she comes in to the rescue. She goes through the cabinets till she finds some shampoo that was put back and was forgot about.
When i'm panicked, she calms me. When i NEED or WANT some help, she is there to help me. Every. Time. (f) |

Because she leaves love notes under my windshield wiper in the morning and she greats me at the door after a long day with a kiss and a hug (and a glass of wine). And this week when I was sick she picked up all the kleenex I threw on the floor on my side of the bed and didn't complain once (and she's a big germaphobe!)

Because he was there for me today and kept me together when I was ready to break down. Because he helped me carry my 170lb dog to the car. Because he climbed into the back seat to hold her and kept her heart beating until we got to the vet. Because he held me as I cried when we knew she was gone.

... Mom called today and gave me new gossip, then said, "I was at Wally World and picked up some toilet paper and coffee for you. They were on sale. Come by anytime and get them - they're in the porch."

Because he (my ferret) makes little squeaking noises when I pick him up and he licks my hand with his sandpaper tounge. Such a cutie.

because when I really need it hy sets the boundaries and expectations so I can let go. and hy is okay letting me rest.

Because he took out the old broken yucky garbage disposal and replaced it with a new one he brought for me. Because he says he always wants to hear from me and really means it. Even if I call at midnight and wake him up he is so sweet and happy to hear from me.

and I know I am loved again because hy understands I need to have someone set the pace at times, offers practical solutions and asks questions.
