I'm so happy Kim won - she and Kourtney were my favorites from the beginning and then when Kourtney broke her wrist, I rooted for no one but Kim.

Ok now they are going to being back 4 survivors that left for medical reasons.
I'm certain that jackass Colton is going to be one of them. People don't love to hate him, they just hate him. That stupid defense about how he would make out with Shemar Moore faster than any woman. That was very simply another way of saying "I have a black friend" and thinking that that in and of itself proves he is not a racist. How embarressing would it be to have to have your MOTHER stand up and apologize for you to all of America? Bring back Russell AND his nephew if you are going to do that. Heck why bring back anyone at all? Give us new people to love and hate. I think Survivor should have their location be something OTHER than a beach. Maybe a northwoods forest, or above the arctic circle, or a desert. The beaches are getting old. Why don't they hunt? Surely there are wild animals in the area, rabbits, whatever. While we are on THAT subject why do they eat the chicken FIRST? 10 people gnawing on 1 chicken isn't worth eating if you ask me. Am I the only one who would stop in mid-challenge to nail Probst in the head with a coconut to shut him up? |

Probst does need a mute button. I cant believe colton the gay boy nelly was so ignorant and prejudiced. Colton talked about not supporting handouts Um... doesnt he live with rich mommy and daddy... and i dont recall him talking bout a career.Sheese must not be considered a handout if its coming from ma and pa,s wallets. |

I posted an interview a few pages back where Probst said something like a Russell you love to hate & bring back, a Colton you just hate and dont want to see him again .... hopefully they stay true to that and dont go by the audience that night who seemed to kinda want to see him again.

Well considering filming is done already what the audience said that night wont matter filming for the Philippines wrapped up a couple days before the winner for one world was announced.

They are good for ratings I suspect it is the same for all "reality shows". The producers probably tell them ok you get to pick 14 guys out of this bunch but JC Dickhead gets a rose until we tell you to dump him. Don't worry, you won't have to marry him. That reality tv is so scripted takes away the.....well......reality. I first realized (I know, I'm terribly naive) these things were scripted was when I first caught the disclaimer on Operation Repo in the opening credits that pretty cleary say, "We are lying to you." Although I am by no means a reality junkie there are a few that I like. Gold Rush, Black Gold, Moonshiners, and The Colony are all heavily scripted but enjoyable nonetheless. Moonshiners is almost completely fake. The police side of the show is real, the moonshiners side of it is all local legend. If Survivor is as I suspect I do not want to know. |
Survivor Philippines- spoilers
was on last night. What do you think? Don't read past this if you haven't watched:
I think the three tribe format is interesting. I'm a little worried for Lisa (Blair), the alpha females seem to look down on her. It probably wouldn't do her any good to mention Facts of Life, only the old folks, like Skupin would be interested in that. I hope he and her go far. Survivor did that same old thing of making us think Russell should/would go and then Zane's plan went for naught. But "weed out the weaklings" is what I have always considered a valid strategy, so I can't argue, although I was sorry to see him go, I think he would have been an interesting player. But quitting smoking right before you come to play is not a valid strategy either. He wasn't up to running at all and in swimming, he might have drowned! The smallness of the tribes could lead to one getting decimated very quickly. I wonder how they will handle this with reshuffling into three smaller tribes or two prior to the merge? I think this looks like a promising season. |
