Gas was 3.79 for cheapo gas down the street.
I wouldn't complain so much, but California is a BIG state, and everything is S P R E A D out. But Collette is right, gas in England runs around $5 a gallon, and other places are equally as high...it could be much worse. |
Gas is still hovering around the 3.00 mark here. But I paid 2.66 in Rhode Island. |
$1.20per litre... ie about $5/gal and tat's the cheap stuff.
|
Oddly enough the past 2 times I bought gas was in SC. It was 2.08 in Lancaster and 2.28 in Lancaster. In my town it is 2.48
|
um
About 2.12 a gallon
|
$2.28 regular at the gas station up the street
But it has been hovering between 2.28 and 2.39 for regular depending on which station you use. |
In Canton TX it was 2.18/gal at walmart and here in my town, 7 miles from there, it's 2.32/gal at the mini walmart here. I drove to Dallas the other day and seen a sign in Terrell,TX just outside Dallas, at a truck stop for 2.03/gal.
Makes me wonder how come there's such a huge price difference in such short distances around here.......:seeingstars::deepthoughts: :wtf: |
In my town, 2.35/gallon. If I go into Asheville proper, its about .20 more...
|
$2.49/gallon in Atlanta.
|
2.45 in NH
|
1.97L in auckland...
:| |
$3.65/gallon in Orange County
|
$2.49/gallon half a mile from me and $2.69/gallon another mile and change down the road. Another 2 miles in the other direction and it's $2.65/gallon.
Distance doesn't mean anything, Tru. Gas stations will charge as much as they can and as much as people will pay. Two miles down the road has a very different type of neighborhood than block A or block B. If the station is in a really good location, they can really push the prices up there too. I have two stations that are exactly across the street from one another. One charges more than the other all of the time. Why? Because even though the other one is cheaper and full service for no additional charge, it's a pain in the but to get in out and of that lot. |

I won't do it in my car unless I'm going north on that road, but I like to use it when I have the cargo truck from work. People tend to get out of my way more when they know they can be crushed like an ant. :cheesy: |
$2.25 (and dropping) here. BUT I suspect in a couple weeks, will go back up for the Labor Day crowds!
|
It was hovering at 3.00 most of the summer. Is down to 2.83 today. |
$2.40 was the cheapest I saw on the way home this morning... :)
|
$2.79.9 Bellingham
|
$2.59/gallon
