to be extremely careful in what you ask for.

That one's foundation is ever present, yet is akin to a willow branch. It can sway in the winds of change and remain part of its host in maturity.

The older I get, the more I realize that you just can't fix idiocy.

That life is to short and you try to do everything in such a short time!

. . . that people do the very best they can, even the cynics.

Have pets, will travel together = my attitude.

The older I get the more I realize the damage we are doing to our earth! It's up to us all to change this!

rockybcn 07-02-2010 10:53 AM

Being rigid in my thinking can cause extreme disappointments. Its better to be flexible and often I am more happy with the results.

Oh G-d who's yelling at you, I couldn't stand that either if someone is yelling at me. My trustee yells at me like I'm her daughter, well god damn it I'm not her daughter just the person who looks after my inheritance that's all. Hell I don't even like talking to her on the phone, I text her so no I don't like someone yelling or me doing the yelling!!

The older I get the more I realize I will NEVER understand the ways of thinking in someone's twisted mind or mental illness they have.
And that sometimes, the true victims in a relationship are the sane ones.

ButchEire 07-02-2010 03:00 PM

The more I enjoy being single and the less I want to expend time or energy in seeking a relationship :D

Jet 07-02-2010 03:03 PM

how the truth will set you free.

dixie 07-02-2010 03:05 PM

The older I get, the more I realize...

...that I am destined (i.e. doomed) to become an anti-social, extremely eccentric, weird-floppy-hat-wearing crazy ol' fruitcake lady....just like every woman on my father's side of the family... (think "Ouiser Boudreaux" on Steel Magnolias only WAY more eccentric...lol)

*shaking my head, already beginning to see the signs*....

*sigh*

I guess (more) insanity is something to look forward to...

i hadn't realized a relationship had to have a victim.
as for mental illness? it's not something a person who doesn't have it can truly understand.

Wryly 07-02-2010 05:33 PM

that my patience can get the better of me.
Lucky for me I only complained to one person rather than a whole bunch of people! So now I only look like a jerk to her - instead of the large groups of people that usually happens to! :seeingstars:

bigbutchmistie 07-02-2010 05:44 PM

I get more moody, more set in my ways :)

Jet 07-02-2010 07:13 PM

I have my grandmother's faith. She was a great influence.

Jet 07-03-2010 03:59 PM

never, under any circumstances, take yourself for granted. it can cost you your life.

Venus007 07-05-2010 12:32 AM

When it comes to people and relationships (of all varieties) to view in black and white is to hobble understanding

Andrew, Jr. 07-05-2010 09:26 AM

I am just not artistic.
