The proposed and in some cases already established law in various countries across the planet that make homosexuality a criminal act. Hence, in some parts of the world the murder of queers is a legal consequence of being gay and/or gender variant.

I've been in a funky mood lately for many different reasons. As some here know, I've got a couple cats in cages as I try to help them get healthy. Just when I think I have this mouth infection under control, one of them takes a turn for the worse. Her mouth is sore and bleeding again. She's having trouble eating soft food and I've been giving her water with a syringe. She's been losing weight and I think she's dehydrated. Tomorrow I will call the vet and take her there. Earlier today, I told her I was no good at saying good bye and she has to help me fight this. I don't want her to have to continue to suffer and we've been battling this for months. I've already been told there's only one alternative if she doesn't get better, so I've spent a good part of the day crying about it. No one's home this week, but me and it sucks to have to do this on my own.

In Kansas, you can file a 14-30 day notice; your landlord would have fourteen days to completely fix the problem and if he didn't comply, you could legally give 30 days' notice and move. BUT a lawyer who practices where you are will be able to tell you if the repeated flooding means your lease is already broken, in which case you could move sooner without penalty to you.

We just buried my cat after staying up with him all night hoping he would go peacefully. We finally took him to the vet to be put to sleep after the seizures started.
Lesson Learned: If they don't just fall asleep and die, put them to sleep. It's not so 'peaceful' to watch the whole death process. He Was So Old, Dylan |

Pain. Nothing but pain is on my mind today. My shoulder is achey, my elbows are killing me so bad that I can hardly lift my coffee mug to drink out of, and I stubbed 3 toes on my left foot while playing with Frank :dog: this morning! I am ready for this day/week/year to be overwith!

is old. Packed up 5 years, last weekend. thinking about spending xmas with my baby boy, knowing that i must share holiday's that next year i wont have him for xmas. i have way too much on my mind. :| |

Thinking, how will I find the strength to make that call to the vet tomorrow morning. Praying for a positive response from her about Silver. Not wanting Christmas eve to be like a Thanksgiving eve was so many years ago when I had to put Bandit down due to failing health because an old roommate couldn't feed her cats the expensive food my Bandit needed even though I was paying for it. Wondering why these things happen so close to a holiday. Being cheery means being leery during any holiday season.

Tonight, as Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are upon us, my mind is on Harley and his 17 year old son Matthew. Some people here know him from the other site, some have no clue what I am talking about. Harley's son has been fighting like a warrior for over two years now to beat cancer. This young man has been more brave and stronger than most anyone I can think of.
The last update I got was not good, and I can not imagine what it would be like to lose a son, let alone, during this time of year. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers...no matter which god or goddess you pray to. Pray for peace for both of them. |
