3. Arrange in what I think will look good.

4. Watch out for 2 curious cats that need to know what Daddy is doing.

5. Look for sticky gooey stuff.

6. Put it all back in envelope .. Cats want to play. :cat:

My cats used to be the same way. As soon as I pull something out that they shouldn't play with, they were up in my face doing just that. :)

amiyesiam 03-14-2010 11:36 PM

Our Cat is to fat (she's sensitive) and old to get into to much. She is more the throw herself on the floor in front of the heater duct/lounge on a pillow between us, kind a dame

As for me, my stuff is sitting there and I have not a clue what I am going to do with it all LOL

Soft*Silver 03-14-2010 11:40 PM

where you chose your type color
one of the choices is white
white on white doesn't show up
till you high light it
whenever you see a break in the type check to see if it says something

Okay, hopefully, everyone got their packages already. Miss Diva and I were talking about our soon-to-be-lovely projects and we had a question. I know we don't have to use each and every thing sent to us but in addition to the embellishments that we can add on our own, can we add paper as well? The way I read the instructions, it seemed as if we could use other papers, as long as a good portion of our materials came from Ami's package.

you two are being badddddddddd LOL
you all knew the rules.
but now the both of you want to take advantage of my loving, caring, generous , faultless, ever suffering nature.
so I guess I will have to be nice
just to maintain my reputation
that being said
if you really must
listen to the call of the paper
or you are going to go over the edge of something
you can use 10% paper
from your own rare paper stash
of course you must say
10 hail mary's
and pray the rosary
on your 80th birthday

Time for the next round of fun.

I will be wrangling this one (my first)

We will be doing something different this round.

There is no theme

People will sign up. There is an absolute limit of 10 plus me, due to cost to me. (sorry) sign up will close March 7. You will also have to send me your address if I do not have it. (please assume I don’t have it) Please do not sign up if you don’t think you will be able to finish, usually these projects are just about one’s own time and $. This round involves my $, so I have a opinion!

After sign ups I will be sending those 1o people a package containing the exact same materials! I will mail them out March 9th.

Everyone will have 3 weeks to complete their project (more info below)
Everyone will then mail the completed project back to me with the $5.00. It should be post marked by March 31st.

I will then sort and mail the packages out within 3 days.

The project
I thought it would be cool to send everyone the exact same materials and see what everyone does with them. I think that when it is all done, a lot of us are gonna look at what others did, and damn why didn’t I think of that LOL.

Here are the peramiders of the project:

everyone starts with their base card. It is black. You must use it. It is a triptyck card. (google it!) You CAN alter this card, but it must be your base. I gave you extra cards in case of mistakes and a template if needed.

you must use the materials included. You DO NOT have to use all of them. The materials are varied and can lend themselves to multiple directions.

You DO NOT have to make all your cards the same. You can, if you want, make them all different. If you want to make them for specific people, put their name on it.

The only materials you can use that are not included:
adhesives, glue, tape etc

pens, pencils, markers, pastels, charcoals, paints, watercolors, stenciling, and stamping

A gentle reminder of our rules from our sponsor, Ami!

Now, improved, to include up to 10% new paper!

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

:byebye:

cara 03-15-2010 01:09 PM

I have mine, too! I can't wait to get started, but probably won't be able to until this weekend. Also, I'm slightly relieved that I can use some of my own secret stash of papers!

Pixie 03-15-2010 08:29 PM

I got the package!!! So totally stoked!

amiyesiam 03-15-2010 10:13 PM

Today, at work, my manager left me a button (the lid of a jelly jar)taped to my in box.

The top of the lid says "Suzie says ...."
the manager has more than a few names for me.
As Donna and I discussed this
I told her I am going to wear the button
and every time someone says something
I am going to say: "suzie says (fill in the blank)
I find it fortuitous this happened today!

Suzie says:

I was nice once
now behave
cause the whole point was that everyone have the same materials

so everyone has to behave
cause then we are all being nice!

As soon as your personal, hand engraved, solid platinum, studded with diamonds and emeralds 10 pound permission slip arrives, then, at that point, it would be a go.
Care to hold your breath? (snort)

I'll just make one, blinged out card with stickers and paper and some embellishments....just for you. :cheesy:

Edited to add: I love, absolutely LOVE those wheely things! They are my favorite pieces to work with.
