88 degrees and sunny here
|
Only 85 degrees but humid as sin. Calling for big storms this afternoon.
|
Low 80s and rainy. Only up to 79* tomorrow but thunderstorms all day, and I have to go out in it. Oh well, at least I get to wear my new yellow rain boots.
|
I am sure we all remember that saying: it is hotter than blazes out there? Well, let us translate that to hummmmm I do not know... say... an unending bonfire??? A very, very, very large bonfire.
|
Currently not too hot at 75° (F) but humid. Stray shower or thunderstorm is expected. Has been cloudy and breezy most of the day.
|
96 degrees and sunny. Sooooooo hot.
|
Afternoon thunder and lightning storms.
Cooled down from 88° to 79°. Also, got a good lawn watering out of the storms! |
This morning I woke up to a wonderful thunderstorm with rain coming down in torrents. I laid there in bed - waking up slowly - as I normally do - and it made Me feel like I was waking up next to a waterfall (as I shared in the smile thread). I am always moved by Mother Nature and what she can dish out - not only that - but how human beings survive after she does it in catastrophic ways.
It was nice to wake up to the power that she has. As for the remainder of the day - we are supposed to get thundershowers off and on.. and the high will be around 79 degrees and we have a low area flood advisory as well. |
Right now its 85 with 71 percent humidity and cloudy in NW Houston
|
65 degrees, windswept skies, violet tinted, huge thunderstorm clouds against teal blue skies.
And... Intermittent spells of rain. A nice cool summer day. :stillheart: |
Weather
I was watching my down home news and the weather is the hottest so far this month 60o omg how delightful. I would go but for the ban with the damned virus.
It is 75o here now at 8 a.m. I had a lovely cool shower and am dripping in sweat just trying to get dry. SOB |
Today was just another mixed bag of Mother Nature's tricks. Some sun - then rain - then a mini-thunderstorm - then some sun. However, it was mild in temperature - so you could breathe when you walked outside - always a plus. It looks like the next couple of days and the weekend will be the roll the dice weather game - in regards to rain and sun. However, as I have posted previously the rain does not bother Me - but I would prefer to have a "someone" to chill in it with. I am hoping Mom is somewhere right now plotting with My Gram (her Mom) in regards to giving Me some hope with the "someone" part. :|

Weather
Its 4:30 a.m. and as usual I am still up and at it. Right now I am sitting in front of an open window at my computer and enjoying the night at 70o. Still warm but without the sun it gives a bit of a cool breeze from the trees. Sitting here in my shorts at least I can be cool. I just wanna go back home by the ocean.
|
Well, if the weather-guesser is correct - today will be the first day we have had a break from the rain for a bit - and even though I love it when it arrives - I am not always sad to see it go. Today the high should be around 81 degrees and the humidity is looking to be 57%. It also looks like we are going to have a slight breeze with all of that - so I really hope the guesser is right about this.

The pool is open for the first time since our apartments were built! It's only supposed to reach 77 today though so, there goes the nix on that.

Weather
Temp never went up all day with a nice breeze and sunny. What a beautiful day finally.
|
66 degrees and dark.

Weather
Days of rain, heat and high humidity. Home is where you can find me.
|
It's cooling off on the lake. Temps expected to be in the mid to high 70s.
Need to order some salt for the coming snow. |
Northern NY in the Adirondacks we are hitting the 40s at night. Had to put the furnace on last night. Am looking forward to Fall and Winter. We've had some hot, yes hot, weather in the 90s with high humidity.
Can't stop thinking about those poor New Orleanians. |
Sunny and 80 degrees today.
|
Our lovely Pearly Skies weather has finally returned. Lots of beautiful rain. High today, 61 degrees.
:hk20: |
It's 58 out and raining here too. I love it, it's like Seattle weather out there, which brings back lots of good memories.
|
Weather
We are finally jumping around in the low 60's late 50's I do love this comfy weather. Some rain but nothing worth talking about. I am happy.
|
Starting to cool off on the lake. Tree colors are changing and I’m seeing less of the ducks, turkeys, and deer, but the squirrels and woodpeckers are out and about collecting nuts and making holes.
It’s very pretty right now in my neck of the woods, but I’m looking forward to the first full snowfall where the snow sticks to the bare tree branches. It will be here soon enough. Today’s high will be 65 F near the lake. |

For thread compliance....coldest morning of the year so far to be followed by rain. |
Adirondack "Mountains"
We are having strange weather as is the rest of the US. Two weeks ago it was chilly enough for a wool jacket. Then it warmed up. We're fortunate to be big procrastinators, and didn't take the A/C out of the window. We'd have been miserable 'cause it got toasty. They keep predicting rain showers, but none have materialized. We had peak Fall foliage last weekend, but the colors are subdued this year. A good rainy weekend brings out the POP in Fall colors here in Northern NYS and Northern Vermont. |
It’s sweater weather on the lake. We’ll be lucky if it gets as high as 60F today. It’s raining off and on and warmer than usual but no complaints from me, yet.
It’s currently 51F. |
Had a nice thunder storm last night. Right now it’s wet, cloudy and a little windy. 52F.
The birds are out and about, and all over the place like Hitchcock. Right now I see three are on a garage, two on a rooftop and a few keep playing tag on my deck. I don’t know if it’s a territory war, creating/protecting a nest, or something else. They’ve been like this for a couple days. |
68, sunny but not bright owing to some slight clouding. I can't remember what type of clouds, I used to know them all, the main ones anyhow. Well it's nice out calm and still, even though yesterday winds were fierce. No need to run air conditioners, heaters this time of year which means lower power bills until winter sets in, something to smile about.

Weather Report
Sunny day @ 46 F. Cooler lately and getting cooler, frost on the windows in the early morning. No complaints here.
|
Sunny day here too. It got partly cloudy as the afternoon came. It's now 39 degrees F. It is dark at 06 and 1800 (or 07 and 1900) and we are anticipating a hard freeze one night soon. There are friends of mine who remember Trick or Treating in foot deep snow. Its difficult for me to imagine.

The Weather Report
It's a cozy 43 F here right now with our second day of rain and a full day of super high winds tearing leaves off the trees and throwing things around.
|
3rd day of high winds.......
Everything is blowing around here in Kingston!
|
Weather forecasters (local and Weather Channel) tell us that we're having a Nor'easter without snow. It is raining cats and dogs, though. I am not fond of rain.
Kinda cool, but bring on the snow and colder temperatures. |
70 and heavy rain, torando warning and watches in some areas of houston
im soaked all the way to my socks lol |
Nor'easter came through last night and this morning. I was not one of the 236,000 Rhode Islanders without power, thankfully, but I was one of the hundreds with trees down. My work property had two huge trees come down, one of which landed on a building and is balancing on a giant propane tank.
Joy. MA registered the highest wind gusts nearby, at 88 and 94 mph. We were only in the upper 60s and lower 70s. |
Rain and flooding here but.....
Thursday morning, winter alerts were up for 2 million people across the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest, which included the first blizzard warnings of the season. The blizzard warnings, in particular, were for parts of northeastern South Dakota and extreme western Minnesota. While this region is part of "blizzard alley," it's early for the season's first blizzard. November blizzard warnings are actually quite rare. The last time one was issued for this part of South Dakota was five years ago in November of 2016. Before that? 2008. Wind alerts are also up for 11 million people, where winds could gust as high as 50mph through Thursday night. By the second half of the day on Thursday, rain was forecast to change over to snow across the northern Plains and Upper Midwest, where as much as 8 inches of snow could fall across extreme northern parts of North Dakota and Minnesota. |
Blue skies, palm trees and sunshine. Right now its 75°
Enjoying a few days off🏝☀️ |
