What brought me a joy, a weekend full of love & laughter....
Date night with my honey to see the Hunger Games Sleeping in on our three day weekend :) Dinner with friends Friday night and then a last minute detour to the casino Breakfast with my mom Purging the house in anticipation of the move A spur of the moment crawfish boil with friends Girl time over two pitchers of homemade sangria Watching the little ones hunt for eggs and devour their easter baskets! |
A nice weekend brought me joy, as for today a nice sunny day, work picking up so things are nice and busy which I like the busier it is the more i get paid :D
My daughter going on and on and on about her new "Goth" outfit lol. |

I got a box in the mail full of all kinds of treats and goodies!!!!!!!!!!!! And my birthday isn't until December!!! Very special. I am very grateful!!!! Made my whole month so far!!! <3

Syr came home with the best early birthday present! A new pocket Canon camera! Wooohooo!!! It's simple and fancy and just perfect, i am so overwhelmed with gratitude !

A client who was in a major MV accident 6 months ago, pelvis broken in 6 places and lots of other breaks and body trauma, she's now well enough now to come in for a treatment, i worked on her on Thursday and she called today to say that she was pain free for 4 days afterwards and to book another appointment.
i love what i do! |

What brought me joy today...walking around Toys R Us with the kid, me in search of Gumby, him in search of the Lego Batmobile.
Then stopping at an unfamiliar grocery store to get vanilla yogurt to use with the Trader Joe's brownie mix we picked up yesterday, and him going straight to the bakery counter—I have taught him well!—to check for freebies, and yes, they had some; slightly stale but delicious chocolate chip cookies. Now the smell of brownies from the kitchen, the sound of rain, him in the basement having wars with his toys, me thinking of taking a nap... |
A bright, sunny day here in the state of Washington.
Spending quality time with ONLY, drinking coffee, making breakfast and watching a movie. Cleaning the house, washing my car and getting my laundry done so that I can RELAX without feeling like I have anything hanging over my head to do... |
Yesterday, what brought me joy..was my pedicure, a gift from Miss Scarlett! THAT was so relaxing...and much needed...thank you, baby!!!
LAST NIGHT: Quiet time..just the two of us...no phones...no computers...our day exploring the Island...and watching a movie, curled up with one another last night..."glizzards" and the Bruster's...yummmmm TODAY..Our "nap" today!! Just us...and the lunch I cooked for us... |
Listening to the Holy Terror Peppa the beagle whine and whimper because I wasnt paying attention to her.. I like to whine back making her howl like the beagle she is lol..
Then of course I have to play with her whiskers cause they feel so funny on her wrinkly face.. I love that dog! |

taking back energy that belongs to me, and releasing that which does not. tres therapeutic to know i have power over my life. not over other people, but over how i feel and what i own, no matter what they do. that being said, i would love a glass of wine right now. :wine:
