Went for a follow up after my surgery today and I'm cancer free!!! I held it together while I was talking with the surgeon, but when I got to the car the tears came pouring out. I was so relieved! Looks like I'll have to go back for check ups every four months, but he's not expecting any more problems. :)

Joy, such joy..
Yesterday, my daughter and i had such a lovely day together.. i met her after school and we had a girl's night out.. A little shopping, dinner, a walk to the park, a walk on the boardwalk, picture taking, getting our nails done & a lot of conversation & fun! Hearing her say she was happy to do this with her momma instead of friends made me smile big!! At 16 years old, i grab those moments and hold them tight. Thank You Daddy for making girl's day happen, was the best birthday present for her from You, and sure made Your girls smile big, big, BIG.. Oh and We love You ♥ ! |

What bought me joy today was waking up and going for a run through the park,seeing all the other people jogging,cycling,walking dogs or pushing prams & the nod we give each other in acknowledgment simply for being out doors early on a Sunday morn :)

Cuddles... lots of cuddles in bed with my gy. oh we were good and didn't make too much noise this morning ;)
The sprout slept in allowing for said quiet cuddles. Coffee, lots of coffee! The Jetson's, french toast, bacon and bananas. YUM! |

a very productive weekend,
a wonderful dinner of my famous, very tender grilled steaks, grilled 'bellas and fresh apple/pecan salad... puppy cuddles and enjoying my farmhouse - especially the peace and space cleaning out the camper and being thrilled that cost-effective plans will be working out very soon...that will help me keep my farmhouse, avoiding living in hotel rooms for most of the month. iced mocha not dreading going to work tomorrow...dreading the drive but not the work. |
oppps...forgot...Friday gave me joy to get 3 pairs of NICE dress shoes at Belks for only $54!! I'm not a shopaholic, but that felt good!!
Also, finding that my electric bill went down drastically! *happy dance at saving a bunch of money!* |
