I am making pork tacos and chicken tortilla soup.

Broiled salmon w/lemon & butter, raw shredded cabbage & beet salad, and sauteed green beans with garlic and almonds.

Watermelon for dessert later on.

I don't know. I had this hysterical dream last night where I made up a salad called "Let us turn up the beat" and it consisted of... lettuce turnips and beets. Then I woke up and was like... yeah, you already knew that was a thing- but whatever, now I'm craving it. So I have all of that in the house and might make my rockin' salad. :superfunny:

Deviled eggs

I stopped in Trader Joe's and they had a little leg of lamb that had to be frozen or cooked by today so I bought it.

It has a pop-up thing in it like turkeys do so I won't under or over cook it.

The ex "hated" lamb and I love it except I try not to think about them, if you know what I mean; so I am trying to cook everything that she would say: "Oh, I hate that".

I poked it full of garlic cloves because it does not matter if I have garlic breath either tonight!

I am throwing some cauliflower in the oven in a bit, to roast it.

I also poured myself a little glass of Francis Ford Coppola's Chardonnay. He makes great wine.

It might have been a Friday work day but it is like a Sunday dinner night.

What's becoming an old standby: Two avocado rolls and veggie lo mein.

I'm tired of being hungry...and being too tired to cook

Had a Hungry Man Turkey Dinner...pretty awful but not awful enough not to eat...how do they manage to get the mashed potatoes ice cold;the stuffing rock hard; all while the lil "cranberry" dessert is blisteringly hot...even tho you've followed the microwaving instructions right down to the last comma?

I had a MRE - beef and brown gravy poured over homemade mashed potatoes. Though it actually tasted pretty good, I’m regretting it now. This because even though I only ate half, it’s still sitting as I imagine it would if I survived downing a portion of some famine wall in Ireland. Moral of the story – don’t play military man. Get thy ass to the grocery store, and soon!

I am going to make bean soup with sausage.

we decided to stay home tonight, so.....

I bought a couple of lovely rib eye steaks for the BBQ, and my Kasey will grill them to perfection.

Thinking a salad with avocado, and a glass of something festive to round out the meal.

Oh it's a nacho and 🏈 night.

GO TIGERS!

It could be a prime rib dinner or a chili dog or a bowl of hot and sour soup...I'm all stuffed up and can't taste a thing.

Shrimp stuffed avocados
Low carb pad Thai made with spaghetti squash noodles
Lemon ice

rice/beans,cottage cheese and small salad.

Ribeye, thin cut, bone in, spaghetti squash with peanut sauce, and a glass of red wine.

A combination of the leftovers from the last two evening's dinners.

For dessert later on, the last bit of cut up watermelon or an orange.

Lasagna and green beans. Chocolate cake later.

Beer. It's what's for dinner. Is that even proper grammar. Yeah I guess so...

I got stuff to make a real dinner tomorrow. I'm off early since my heat decided to stop working and I need to get a guy in here to fix it. Prolly a hung over guy. Yay
