A stray kitty showed up at my house 2 years ago. After months of leaving her food and coaxing her, she finally let me get close enough to pet her. She usually lays at my feet or under my chair and will allow me to scratch behind her ears. This evening, out of the blue, she jumped in my lap. First time ever. She stood there for a minute while I scratched her ears then jumped down. She circled my chair for a few minutes then jumped back in my lap...then plopped down and nuzzled into me, as if she had been doing it for years. Yay! I'm so loving this kitty... :cheer:

Attending an open day for all sorts of things in St.John's square. I finally got a chance to have a go on a unicycle - I have the bruised shins to prove it. I also picked up the contact information for a local circus skills group I can attend that will help me learn to ride a uni and walk a tight rope, something I've always wanted to do.
A Sunday roast dinner with my best friend Tinkerbell and her 4 boys. These are the things that brought me joy today. |
reading a magazine at an outdoor cafe with a vanilla bean frapp and coming home to cook a scrumptious dinner for us :)

Having brunch with a beautiful lady and my brother. Playing on the riding lawn mower and getting dirty. Having dinner with some friends and laughing. Seeing my nephew trying to mack on an older woman but he totally has no game like his uncle. :seeingstars:

Woke with my sweets this morning, had coffee and chit chat.
Then a big group of Butch Femme folks and a picnic in the park...good conversation, laughter, and food! Then swimming! All in all, a good day :D |
