I finished cleaning and formating a single panel cartoon book for a cartoonist and up loaded it for publication!!!!! I am so happy to have this done. I know he is going to enjoy having his work available in a book! (like they say on the Shake N Bake ad)....And I helped!!!

A bike ride. Not just any bike ride but a bike ride longer than a mile or two on my new (to me) bike. She has now been 'christened' and will be Lady Haydock (in honour of the frame builder Roger Haydock) from here on in. She's such a refined 'lady'. She has a classy-chassis and rolls beautifully.
It's been many a year since I rode a proper road/touring bike; I've been riding hybrid/mountain bike type machines with low gearing and lots of rubber on the tarmac for a very long time. Lady H has significantly higher gearing and not a lot of rubber on the ground. I had forgotten how good it is to go so quickly...I almost un-nerved myself a couple of times :blink:. We had a fantastic ride around the greenery out beyond town, we got lost but it really didn't matter, I could still see Blackpool Tower so had a location marker. It felt good to get some proper mileage in. I can't wait to ride again tomorrow. |

Enjoying a wonderful Saturday with SnackTime, Shadows Papa and Miss Pinkie.
Tons of laughter, visiting downtown Nashvegas, driving the "route" of the BIG Event tomorrow, ice cream, pizza and manicures!!!!!!! Getting up at 4:00 tomorrow morning isn't a lot to smile about but honestly it will be so early i won't even know i'm up. Snack will just have to point me in a direction and say "walk". |
Bringing my dog home from the vet after 4 very long days! Yaaaaaaaaaay! Feeling blessed and thankful for friends, family, iced coffee, and a Saturday evening with no plans save cuddling with my puppy friend.

My birtheday celebration
I celebrated today with loving caring friends. A freind baked me a Red velvet cake it was yummy it was sweet and thoughtful. I was visited by my friend and husband from San Antonio I have not seem for almost one year they are both artist and they bought me one of their original art piece.
I was surprised by a freind with a Nikon Camera / Case and memory. That really touched my heart because he knew I wanted a new camera because my old one acts out sometimes, it works when it wants. I felt sincere love from my freinds. I am grateful for today and all my family and freinds. |

Received pics of my Grandkid- she is graduating from HS there is a family party nexy weekend for her. I hope I can make the trip. She is graduating with honors and earned academic scholarships to a great university. But, she will be moving all the way to DC!!! She was a baby yesterday, yanno. She'll be fine, I know.
I had a nice dinner date and we took in a movie. Enjoyed her company and will see her again. LOL... I never really know what to think with only one date! |

Talking to my best friend...on a day that I really needed to. She and I have been missing each other a lot....before I moved we used to go out to breakfast on Sunday every few weeks and spend a few hours just talking, cruising the bookstore, walking the dogs...whatever we felt like.
My stress/exhaustion level has been through the roof for months...and I wish we could sit and gab over coffee and pancakes like we used to. |
