Luxury breakfast
An egg!!! Cooked in microwave 2 slices of bacon Coffee with cream |
Breakfast
Oatmeal with banana and blueberries, cinnamon and maple syrup.

Take two eggs and whisk them with cream, then turn them into a warmed skillet with a drizzle of olive oil. Lay a small size burrito shell on top of the egg mixture. Cook on medium heat for about 4-5 minutes, then flip egg over to brown the burrito shell. Turn stove top burner to low setting while shell is browning. While it is browning, top off your burrito egg shell with chopped avocado, fresh jalapeño and add a bit of shredded cheese (mozzarella is purrfect),
Fold burrito egg shell in half, let cheese melt, then eat it all up. Yummmmm. ☺️ |

Every morning I have a muffin loaded with blueberries and coffee. Eggs and such go down at lunch (brunch) with cup of coffee number two.

Taco Bell breakfast burrito (which is very small) made with scrambled egg, sausage and cheese. Three of them. I also ordered a small cup of their Cinnabon coffee. Yummm. 😌

Oatmeal with cardamom, apples, coconut, walnuts and a bit of cream. So good.

Seeing I am running the wood stove 24/7 in my big room (9 degrees out this AM) I went to Wally yesterday and bought an 8 inch cast iron skillet. I christened it this morning with a hamburger and an egg from one of our hens. I'm thinking there might be some quesadilla action going on for supper tonight.

Cocoa Puffs and milk. It's been years since I had them. They're not as chocolatey as I remember.

Breakfast was great and was repeated this AM. Tonight before I go to bed I am going to have to start using wood from the back row so I am half way through my stash.

Saturday night I had a pain in my hip that reminded me that, even if I can dance with these knees, I still have arthritis in other parts of my body. For me, the best things for my arthritis are veggies, water, no sugar. So, I’m starting today with a green smoothie even though there’s an apple-cinnamon donut waiting for me.. |
