Missed Connections
Despite an ickified day of missed connections and brief, hurried phone calls, at long last being able to talk for a few un-rushed, chuckling moments about the day's events in the wee hours of the morning - all disappointment is gone and replaced with a sweet smile upon my face.

In the "It's a Small World" category is this: Not only do I find a Facebook group for the very day camp I attended back in Ohio in the late 60's to mid 70's (so from 5-12), but I just threw out a name I recalled from my bus-and found her on FB! If that's not enough, she apparently plays for our team :). What were the chances of that?

Scoote and I went for an evening stroll on the beach....stopped at our favorite burger place for a bite to eat....and then watched as a pair of young raccoons explored the dumpster....they took turns, one diving, and one keeping watch from the top of the fence. :cheesy:

Getting up early to get ready for the first day of my first job ever as an LPTA! Miss Pinky getting up early because she is excited for me. Today all the work, worry, and sacrifice starts to pay off. It makes me smile big and continuously!!!

lotsa things made me smile today. :) the thunderstorms that have been rolling thru the mountains today... been a most exquiste blend of sight, touch and sounds here. and drifting off to sleep under watchful storm clouds and sunshine. saturday mornings arrival... and the sounds in my home once again. remembering something i heard somewhere once.. 'and on the 7th day, all will be sated and renewed, and she'll sleep.' never meant as much as it does right now. and the smile is unlike any before. hurry up saturday! the new pattern discussed, designed and shared for a lovely canvas. life's full of 'new', and more intensely beautiful opportunities! that wont be discarded, or ingnored, or tossed aside out of fear. i say hell yes. :) |
