Big bowl of buttered noodles

Chicken fried chicken, double green beans and a small side of fried okra with a big glass of sweet tea.

Oh that comfort food! Macaroni and cheese, with a side of garlic broccoli.

This post flashed me back to my childhood! On Fridays, not being able to eat meat, we often had some sort of noodles! I was never big on mac n cheese I preferred mine either with can tomatoes or plain butter:hangloose:

The other day I made some milk kefir with cream, and it is thick like sour cream. Today I sliced a cuke, zucchini, radishes, onion, and chopped up a tomato and added it all to some of the "kefir sour cream", then I added in some basil, herbes de provence and S&P to taste for a yummy summer salad.

For dinner, I will have some of that along with leftover roast chicken, and riced cauliflower & broccoli.

I made chicken tortilla soup and salad for dinner.

Haha! I am a native Texan of course I have cornbread.
No Johnny Cakes in Texas, sorry.

Now we need pie.

3 bologna sammiches with bread and butter pickles

2 large milks (one was chocolate, I put Nestles Strawberry powder for milk in other one)

Loaded baked potato soup, a big bowl of it. Sweet tea to drink.

I had pizza at a 4 year olds birthday party. I skipped the cake tho. Nothing but love and pizza in the room tonight!<3

Haha! Nope I made lunches from scratch this morning. You have to wait till tomorrow to find out. 😊

I roasted a big chicken yesterday, and saved back the dark meat and broth for soup, and then used quite a bit of the beast meat to make chicken salad for light meals. I'm going to have chicken salad with non-grain, organic crackers and a small garden salad with an creamy balsamic dressing.
