A Natural Foods Store opened here last week, and once again I can buy Brown Cow coffee yogurt and non-toasted brewer's yeast, which I put on my popcorn. Yay!!

The discovery that a pen I took from a hotel is the best pen ever... Nothing like a reeeeaaaallllly good pen to make my day!!

the hint of rain in the air a dog that is doing well in all aspects a cat that is contently eating instead of yowling at me to fill his bowl three day old stale cold donuts coffee in a to go mug because I have my MRI in a bit the house is clean the flowers are blooming and there are jars of pickles in my fridge, straight out of my garden damn...it really doesnt get better than this! :koolaid: |
my friend JoSChmooze, which some of you might remember from the dash site, just had a second knee replacement. He is doing wonderful and his pain level after surgery was a 2. Before surgery, for 6 months, it was an 8! Even with pain meds! So he is doing much better and is chipper and laughing (and its not because of the tylenol 3!) and feeling better than he has in months.
His joy brought me joy!!! |

What brought me joy today....
Lunch plans with my mom in about 30 minutes. Plans tonight to catch up with one of friends from high school ~ that I haven't seen in about 15 years! She now has 5 kids (oh my gay), so I'm gonna grab a few pizzas, a bottle of wine for us, and head that way! Our plans last Saturday to go to the beach got canceled... but I got a phone call from a friend that rented a cabin for THIS weekend, and has invited us to come on down! YAY time with my honey, some great friends & time at my happy place :) |
Sweet kittens, Harley and Sassy both, eating soft canned food today without having to be hand fed.
Finding some peace today. |

My best friend might have her baby tonight! She went into early labor and the dr's might stop her contractions. We are all hoping they don't!

A 5 year old in pigtails, and her mischievous laughter. Waking up in a cozy home. The overwhelming feeling of love & contentment. |
