Getting a lot cooler.... hello fall. Raining a lot today and yesterday NP. My kind of weather. The heat is gone.

Right now it's still dark out and a heavy rain is falling. This combination does not make me super happy to head out to work.

Cool and sunny, no rain, little breeze. Back in my hometown 50F and 48F at night. That makes it hot here lol.

It's raining buckets, and later there's supposed to be heavy wind. Doesn't make me feel comfortable, as that's the same kind of weather that dropped a tree on my house during Hurricane Ina/Ida (?). I'm staying in bed.

Can't sleep. Hoping everyone in Florida and in the path of Hurricane Helene is safe and dry, and that everyone's home is intact.

I'm one of those Florida Folks. Much devastation has taken place in the Sunshine state in the last 24 hours. Millions of people will be waking up to huge losses. I hope the losses are limited to property.


For myself, I am relieved to report that we suffered little damage. We didn't even get a lot of rain. I live in Central FLorida, and I guess my home is far enough to the east that we barely got the outer bands. My
kids all live within a couple miles of me and they are all ok too. I am very grateful, but so sorry that others have suffered so much.

It's a balmy 55F here right now, no wind, no rain. Gotta love autumn.

It's 67°F on the lake. The temperature is expected to go up to 70 today. Rain off and on with clouds non-stop.

Wild Turkeys are running around like it's not hunting season (it is for them on this side of the lake) and the woodpeckers are lucky they're a protected species. I'll leave it at that.

Mt. Hood is getting snow, probably more than a foot of it. When it began to rain yesterday afternoon, we had a snow-rain mix. It’s very cool here. I need to get snow tires ��

My Hood got another batch of deep snow and the snow line on the mountains sits at 4k feet…. Probably Sandy and Welch’s is getting lots of snow, and that’s not far from where I live. I’m debating today about getting either snow tires with studs or to get All Weather tires. I need to get better tires on my car before too long.

Right now there is sunshine, but more rain and snow arrives before evening.

High: 50 degrees (I’m not at sea level)

Highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s. We have some lows in the 30s coming up, though, and I dreamed about snow last night. Wonder if that means we'll get some?

30F no wind, little sun but no snow as yet. Up north they got 3' wow!. Suppose to get some today but none and the skies are blue. Some spots are in the snow belt tg but not us. We sit right on Lake Ontario and that keeps the snow south of us. You're welcome.

No snow here either. There was a high of 44*F today, and it was sunny. Low of 27*F tonight. I got all my outside faucets insulated and covered just in time.

Was super cold for a couple of days then snow for all one day . Now, it is 41F and there is no snow to be seen. I guess our winter is overwith lol. Up north they are snowed in by 3' of snow. The lake keeps most of the snow out of here for long. Cloudy and still, a nice day.

For the past few days, it has been windy and very cold. Now it is 56*F and rain is supposed to start in a few hours and will last a few days. I just hope the rain ends before Friday - I have lots to do this weekend.

Currently thunderstorming outside, and supposed to last all day tomorrow.

Thankfully, supposed to clear up Monday and be sunny. I have a doctor's appointment that day. I may still wear my cute yellow rainboots, though. Depends on how it looks in the morning.

Snow all melted yesterday. Rain today. Will be foggy from warm yesterday 44F to only 37 today. Little wind.

The Cascades have so much snow, but thankfully none of it is in our metro area. Our weather has not been too cold yet, it’s fairly mild.

6 a.m. and now 6:30 p.m. and we are at 48.5 F after a day of light rain. Quite warm after the sun has gone down. Rain stopped, time for a walk in the fresh cool air.

51*F and clear at 7:50 pm. It got up to 64*F today when I had my doctor's appointment. I just wore a light sweater. It was sunny and nice.

Definitely freezing here - 33*F. We have the heat on. Supposed to get up to only 50*F tomorrow, and rain for the next two days. Tuesday I have to leave the house and it's supposed to be sunny with a high of 41*F. I'm looking forward to wearing my new red wool coat.

It is 40F and not bad for 6pm. No snow, lots up north of here. We have had a touch but it is gone and our streets and sidewalks are clear. Not a bad winter so far at all.

Not much rain, in the 40sF. Tomorrow heavy rain, heavy winds and 30sF predicted. I hope it ends before Tuesday when I have to leave the house.

It's 30*F outside, but feels like 18*F due to the wind and "arctic blast". We may get a "wintery mix" tonight.

The boy reports that his grocery store is having a "French Toast day," meaning the store is overrun with people buying bread, eggs and milk "just in case". I asked him to bring home some bread, and he said he will try but they may run out. He was serious.

It's not terrible right now - high of 41*F today and sunny. But we have a "Winter Storm Warning" for Friday - snow and freezing rain, accumulation of 1-3 inches.

Okay, the storm will be here in a few hours. We are all at home, we have milk, eggs, bread, ice cream and a kitchen full of food, we're charging our phones and the flashlight, and the boy will take the dog out one more time before the snow hits. I know, you northern types are laughing at me right now. But we should be fine unless the power goes out.

Yes, it was just enough to be pretty. We got 3 inches. It was 32*F all day, so it's still out there.

Temps hovering around 32*F during the day, so the snow is still out there. Still too dangerous to drive on the roads, especially at night and in the early morning. It's supposed to get down to 18*F tonight - faucets are dripping. Door Dash is operating again, at least during the daytime - they stopped for a couple of days.
