Nice bread; dead beer thread.

It doesn't have to be dead

My first ex-husband likes to dabble in craft beer making. LOL, he is nuts about his beer making, but I asked him if there was some online resource in learning how to make your own beer. He sent this link to me, so I hope other's find it interesting. Link ~~>>>>> How To Make Your Own Beer |

Like I have mentioned before, I'm not a big fan of IPAs. I like a good lager.

I'm really not a fan of beer but there are two I really liked and would recommend. One is still available, the other was from a microbrewer in S. Cal and they're closed.
The one y'all can hunt down and try is called He'Brew. Yup, that's its name! Flashback --> It was the late 90's, a buddy and I were at Gelson's in S. Cal browsing the beers (for her) and at one point she stopped and said WTH?! At first we were both ready to take offense but it was totally legit and kinda cute. The tag line on the bottle was .... "The Chosen Beer" :koolaid: During our lil taste test I was … WTHeck's with the bubbles? They were not what one expected in a beer. My buddy, the beer aficionado, said the bubbles were like those you'd find in Champaign. It was delicious and had a very pleasant "mouth feel." :p I just went to their website...Shmaltz Brewing and I'm not seeing it but if you Google "Where to buy He'Brew beer?" it's still available here and there. There's a blurb about the company and He'Brew beer on their WIKI page. Hope you try it and like it! :) |

Corvallis Oregon is home to several awesome craft breweries, one of which is called Block 15. It’s an IPA brand from Corvallis.
Here is a link to their menu and tap list. https://block15.com/menu-tap-list Cheers, 🍸🍸 |
on a (very)rare occasion....
Bud Light (w Ice Water) |
I like Belgian ales, sours, farmhouse reds and some IPAs. I prefer nothing too hoppy. One of my all-time fallbacks is Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA. It's a malty Imperial IPA. Dogfish Head Brewery is in Delaware.

Huh… Just thought how it’s been a looooong time since I drank an ice cold Genesee Cream Ale or a Mickey’s Malt Liquor. Love my Colorado Kool Aide though!

Beer Whats your taste?
I drank Labatts Blue for many many years but have not had any for about 16 yrs now. I don't miss it LOL.

I didn't drink much beer this summer, but my go-to beer is Heineken 0.0. It's the best tasting non-alchoholic beer to me and I just love it. Especially if I have tasty burger or a bag of lightly-salted pumpkin seeds to go along with it. Think I'll have one this evening with some pumpkin seeds.

Just cracked open a beer I got in Upstate NY but is actually a Vermont beer…
Best of Times by Simple Roots out of Burlington VT It’s described as a “malty English ale”. It definitely delivers. Very good. Very strong too. I’m only a couple sips in and feeling tipsy! |
I’ve been enjoying Stickmen’s craft beer called Bees Knees.
