Yesterday morning, my bunny, Buttercup passed away. Gaige woke from a deep sleep to be there for me. She said all the right things, and understood exactly how I was/am feeling...I know I am loved because I know that she will always be there for me, and with me, through thick and thin. Her heart is amazing.

The Beauhunk knew I was presenting at an early meeting today and surprised me by going in to work late so he could take care of the dogs in the morning and let me concentrate on my presentation.

when I hear a dear friend say "hey ladybug, what's up?"...I can feel she really cares...
When I know a different dear friend is seriously and honestly listening to me and supporting my hard decisions to improve my life...and she doesn't get cranky when my plans don't put her at the TOP of my list ...she shows me that she knows I feel she's valuable and she makes me feel just as important ... When I come home to my puppies and I am the center of their world ... When I reconnect with a childhood friend who tells me she loves me just as much as back then and how touched she was when I tell her that she and her sisters were "my haven " from an awful world.. when that friend makes me FEEL she loves me and never stopped ...a true sister when a dear friend shares my passions AND my need for peace ... |
Because... Now that friends have figured out that I am really leaving they are coming out of the woodwork and changing other plans to spend time with me. I think I have every moment filled up between now and when I leave next Sunday. I am loved, and according to many... I will be missed. It's a good feeling.

I know because I get told I am all the time, and I make sure I tell everyone I love that they are loved and cherished, whether it needs to be said or not.

we fell in love together with a friend's lil boy and asked him to call us grandma and grandpa...and I watched my chrissy grin ear to ear and get his soft face on, whenever we talk about this

... because he sends me to bed when I'm tired, even when he would like more time with me. ... because he's concerned I might go out with wet hair in the cold. ... because he forgets what doesn't matter and remembers what does. |

- because His encouragement, support & love always makes me feel cared for, safe and i'm blessed to be His...i love that i can talk to Him about ANYthing, and trust and respect Him with all i am. The safe feeling, is the best feeling ! - & because my 16 yr old daughter, despite the poor choices and attitude these days, still makes it a point to pick up the phone and call me (3 times tonight) and tell me she loves me very much. While i cant agree with the decisions she's made, i am in her corner and want her to find her way.. i know i can't push her the way i want her to go, but i know i have given her many life skills over the years that will help her fight & survive, just like i have.. i'm forever cheering her on, even when she takes the scenic not - so - momma - approved route. |
When I wake up each and every day there is an adorable little shihtzu who wakes me up kissing my face.
When I come home, he is there to greet me at the door with so much unconditional love. My best friend shows me everyday how much she loves me and how much I mean to her. As do my other friends. |

Hys relentless pursuit of me...hy won't take no for an answer...sweet, thoughtful suprises...hy shows how much he cares because hy listens to my dreams, my desires, likes and dislikes. Hy makes me feel like the priority in hys life...says he wants to give me everything that I want and deserve.>>and actually makes the repeated effort to do this....*sigh*

I know hy loves me because today at work when he saw me crying trying to set up for my bereavement leave hy cried simply because I was in pain and hy knew hy couldn't fix it.

because he comes home between theater rehearsal and work (a half hour between them) just to unload the car of dog food and soda, because I cant lift with my shoulder....
I have learned to deeply appreciate when someone is there for me, rather than discard me because I am broken... |

Because he thinks of things for me that I wouldn't even think of for myself.....
He never lets me open a door..... He frets and fusses when I don't sleep enough.... He lets me peruse my favorite junk shop at my leisure...and without complaint..... <3 He understands my book/skirt/purse/shoe/etc fetishes.....and contributes accordingly.... He never forgets to ask if I need ice cream when he's going to the store.... He stands up for me no matter what..... He thinks I'm wonderful,sweet and cute...even when I'm grumpy or tired...or both... He supports my future farming plans ......even if it seems frivolous and unrealistic to some.... He tries new things just for me..... <3 <3 <3 I could go on and on and on...but he is waiting upstairs for us to try out our new bed that he THINKS I don't know that he set up....but sound travels ;) :rrose: |
He appreciates me, unique, different, sometimes silly.
That i have my own thoughts, dreams, hobbies & beliefs and encourages those. He loves the skin i am in, whether i am having a "feeling fat day" or a "feeling fabulous day". He is always constant & makes me feel beautiful and comfortable in my skin, especially standing before Him. He protects me, & makes me feel the safe - Even from my own self. |
